More CLT Cuts

Imagine this - CLT is getting a second flight to LHR - where is everyone discussing the reduction in service to CLT - AA paid money for a slot and of all places deployed it in CLT

Possibly once they get reconfigured to the low J configuration. The current configuration with FC and BC would not be viable for CLT, nor would the planned 45J. CLT is a premium light market.

That depends on the ETOPS program on how it was written and approved by the F.A.A. Every carrier comes up with a basic ETOPS program and submits it to the F.A.A. for approval. At AA we have two guys minimal but sometimes depending on workload and turn times we may have more AMT's. Aircraft type is a facture as well.

That's correct - no premium passengers ever connect - they only take direct flights - this is why SQ, NH, etc fly to every city in the US because no one would ever connect to fly overseas from the US.
 
The reconfigurations are being done for AA proper not CLT flying the reality is AA could not sustain that level of premium passengers from their premium only passenger hubs

Don't get too cocky.  Not many of us have mentioned the complete demise of CLT...just a downsizing.  Adding a flight to LHR is good news...but COULD easily fall in line with the "downsize" logic.  Reducing direct flights into other EU airports...funneling them through JFK/LHR instead.
 
Time will tell.
