Your right ,things are just SO horrible for us right now seven hundred ...what with the healthcare ,flexqble schedules ,sick pay, holiday pay ,flight benfits, living wage ...we really are slaves ...I should be ashamed for not standing up for our freedom ....

WAKE UP ! Look around the country ! We have it far better than most of the US and hear you are crying like its 2005 and there are labor shortages everywhere ...the entire country is suffering and you and others are complaining about having a decent job ...HA ! Your as much out of touch as the leadership is ...
Wake up?

You are a coward, and you will run across the picket line.

Do you not have any self-esteem or self-worth?

You havent had a raise in two years, no stations have been in-sourced and their is the pension issue to deal with.

Your CEO went behind your back and negotiated a better deal for employees that dont even work for him.

You just need to go into management.

Coward.

This isn't about the rest of the country, much less the rest of the industry.  This is about the property and the fact that management doesn't want to pay sUS the same wage as sAA.  A wage that sUS management gave them.
It's something to fight over. Yes it is.

I'm sure they said the same things to people like me at GM who might have spoken up that perhaps the union was pushing too hard ...

I'm speaking up for the membership ,who are you speaking for ? I don't want to gamble with our jobs in this economy ...

I read it every day maybe you should try it .

You are a coward, plain and simple, you threw your coworkers to the street and you will run across the picket line, just go into management.

And people stood up for themselves at GM in order to get what they wanted, educate yourself.

On this day in 1937, nearly two weeks into a sit-down strike by General Motors (GM) auto workers at the Fisher Body Plant No. 2 in Flint, Michigan, a riot breaks out when police try to prevent the strikers from receiving food deliveries from supporters on the outside. Strikers and police officers alike were injured in the melee, which was later nicknamed the "Battle of the Running Bulls." After the January 11 riot, Michigan governor Frank Murphy called in the National Guard to surround the plant. However, the governor, who wanted to preserve his reputation as a friend to the workingman, decided against ordering troops into the plant.

This isn't 1937 and if you recall GM got saveged in BK because they priced themselves out of a job ...

This is an ECONOMIC debate and you have ZIP to back you up ...continue to call me a coward ,if we lose our jobs will you find the membership 20 dollar an hour jobs ?

Speaking of that just why DO we have so many transfers 700 ,I mean If the job is so unfair wouldn't people just have gotten new jobs ?

Your right cltrat , I was SO wrong ...that's why we'he stoped debating the debt celining in congress and QE is now our countries economic guiding light ...

Because as everyone knows ,everything is fine and the recovery is underway ......said no one ever .....

You are nothing more than a coward.

Go into management if you dont have a backbone, guess you didnt see the new AA gave Horton $20 million and Doug with his stock got $17 million.

Grow a set.

If all you have are insults when it comes time to debate this issue infront of the membership I fear the IAM will be run out of town .

You call me a coward ,I have good reason to be afraid ...what percentage of the membership came out for the last Pickett? Care to wager a guess ?

you were totally wrong the whole country was goingto collapse and the company out of business at least have enough balls to own it

I really don't care why were you there anyway since you think it's right our AA co workers make more than us.

IDK how it is there but in CLT there is a limit on the number of people able to picket by permit

I would think that the District (and or the International) should at least be prepping the members for a strike. It's just a common sense thing to do. Information and education is key, and since US Airways will not bargain with it's own, you have to use whatever tool possible. When the time comes, the members should be well prepared about the consequences, and be ready to make the commitment. The reasons are just. The public doesn't care. But the rest of us are watching what you guys do.

You guys have more leverage than we did. Please use it wisely........

How long you gonna try and use your one appearance at a picket as some sort of street cred? I'm happy you went, but everything you post undercuts what that picket stood for.
