Freedumb,

Why dont you take a lesson from the AE pilots, they are willing to have their company shut down and lose their jobs so they dont give in to more paycuts and slave wages from the New American.

aanotok  that's darn good summary  but in the end  do you think you folks still made out better than we at us did?   weaasles  while what we have been thru and still go thru with lack of negogs  its def easier said than done to move fwd    as pat said  we deserve sec 6 contract before jcba   but its just down right utterly disgusting that those clueless brainless donkeys go behind our backs to negog deals with aa unions  pays them what theyre promised  then they got donkey balls to tell the nmb they will not negogiate with us unless its jcba   that crap wont fly with me   may be with freedom  but im not ok with it
we should at the very minimum get aa wages  enhance scope retro  etc

To be honest with you robbed, I'm not sure what all you lost. I really don't know how to compare ours versus yours. I assume you have a few things better than ours and many worse. I guess my point to WeAAsles was nobody made out, especially like bandits. Huge loses and givebacks are just that, HUGE.

Anyway, good luck to you guys and and both AA/US down the road.

Robbed: Again we had something they wanted. Nothing more, nothing less. We were able to help them get what they wanted and we got something in return for that. All the AA unions were doing exactly what they're paid to do which is to represent their members. If the situation was reversed the USair Unions absolutely should have done the same thing. Represent their members. When the Pilots at Delta didn't support Parker what happened? Poof!

Now we have to take advantage of where we are. ALL of us.

thanks aanotok.    for starters  we lost over 32 stations   our sick went from full to half pay the first 3 days  then reverts to full sick pay on day 4   but if you have 100 or more sick days in the sick bank  then its better for you      our scope  if an out station is mainline with 56 or more weekly dept  it cannot be outsourced  but if it goes below 28 or 21  (I forget which one it is)  for a yr  then that station can be outsourced.   4 vacation weeks a yr is tops   lead pay is 1.01 an hr   our top wage is 20.56 an hr after 12 yrs   that's just starters

I have been extremely busy this week with an arbitration etc,, have not even had a chance to catch up on forum. Have been in breakrooms in PHX briefing what is going on though with impasse.

Wasn't directed at any one person. It was directed at the union. Its time for this union to summarize why i need to be prepared for a strike ( although i am ) and what has been offered to make some crucial decisions. This is mainly for those that are asking questions and there are alot. When and if we are released, the info should start flowing. ........PROFFER NMB ?..lets get to this BS already

I just don't think that you all should go into ANY transitional agreement while you have the leverage of Section 6.

All you have to do is look at our lousy agreement. The District gave up leverage and the metal. Made things seamless for the company. The transitional agreement really put us behind the eight ball and so the District had to lie to get our agreement passed (well the second one). Lies and Lies. Half of it isn't even worth the paper it is written on.

Don't get fooled..........

You know how many years I went to baggage handler school for ? Zero ...

You want to know how much in training it cost me out of my own pocket to learn to throw bags ? Nada ...

Don't compare skilled labor to unskilled and pretend like its the same .

Labor is labor and do you even know that a lot of ramp make more than a regional pilot.

And if you load a plane wrong what can happen?

What about hazmat?

Ever hear of ValuJet?

I'm sure the pilots would COMPLETELY agree with you that labor is labor ...

ANYONE can learn to fly a plane in just a few weeks right ?

You are clueless and dont get the point.

When was the last time you were in a bin and it was 100 degrees or 10 degrees outside?

700 man you and I don't see eye to eye on a lot esp politics but you're spot on about this clown

Well thank you, he is a poster child of whats wrong with people who live in fear.

You are a suppressed human being. Suppressed by your own mind and in fear of the company you work for !
