Try talking to your co*workers whom you don't see at the union meetings every week and let me know what THEY think ...

This isn't about you or me ,this will be about what the membership wants and how the membership feels and I bet I've got a better beat on them than all of you .
u are full of BullSh*t.... and a first class Gelding

Freedom you're right that we're not Pilots. We're also not Brain Surgeons or Rich Athletes or Celebrities. But all of those people I mentioned have one thing in common. They all work very hard at what they do just like us. The way your comment comes across at least to me calls for keeping low expectations. Low expectations are not what unions are about or else we wouldn't have many of the things that were fought for in the past. To not fight for a better slice of the pie falls into the category that's thrown at us "Market Rate" Hollow words from where I come from. In NYC the Unions set the rates. That's why it's so damn expensive to live there.

Before the merger your company stated to the NMB that the IAM was ignoring market realities. Well those realities overnight are now drastically different. Maybe in a way that's what these guys are trying to tell you? It's hard to change a mindset. Especially one that's used to a certain way of thinking but to be successful in life you also have to be adaptable.

Don't sell yourself, your members or your Union short Brother.

Guess freedumb doesnt know airline workers have the second highest injury rate out of any job except farming.

I have had six knee surgeries and a rotator cuff/shoulder reconstruction from my 20+ years in the industry.

Well said  WeAAsles.

Ive never seen Freedom posting so much. This suggest he is management to me. he is singing like a canary and I'm very uncomfortable with his statements. Nothing good out of them.  I Don't disrespect freedom for supporting the previous union leaders and the INTL IAM in supporting the sellout agreement in 2008 as all class two stations other than ORD who followed my lead supported the IAM welchers and Mike F. But this is 2014 and I honestly feel that this is a SOLID situation to pick up steam.

Tim he isnt management I know some leads and people in PHX who know him, he is fleet.

Scope ...we strike to protect jobs....
no sunshine you said you would be willing to bet you knew better what the membership wanted than the rest of us.
I'm calling you out and asking what you're willing to bet to back that statement up.

No, Tim is right I'm manqgment ,AH has been training me ...man its so nice up here on the 13 floor of CHQ I can see the airport from my corner window ....

What can I say ,there are two sides to every debate ,we should never be afraid to discuss the pros and cons of any major action that could effect the membership ...

Crazy people gut instinct ?

Freedumb is a fleet service agent in PHX. He disguises himself as a "good guy". What he spews on here is the opposite of what he says to his coworkers. He is one of those people we meet in this life who wears rose-colored glasses, pulls down his pants and walks backwards waiting for management to f*** him.
