Seeing tim behind every bush, are you?
I think josh is well written and some think im jester as well. Both are well written with a vocabulary well beyond me.
Carry on!

Charlie Brown used to hide behind that tree to scope out the little red haired girl but you could still see his head sticking out from both sides, lol.

And no I'm not thinking the Charlie Brown here is Tim too.

Josh
thanks for the kind words.
Unfortunately, ill be staying in Ord as a ramper or agc elect. I guess if im a ramper then i wont have to choose between twu or iam until the association election sometime in 2015.

Even though all of the back biting and bantering, I have learned a great deal about the contractual obligations and how the labor laws would impact us as a group.  And even as I hold P.Rez with a great deal of respect in keeping the PHX hub well-informed during nearly daily meetings in the 3 break rooms, I realize that he probably could not get into the esoteric details of what I learn here.  You see?  I am not Tim Nelson!  In fact, politically I am probably much more conservative than Tim.

I don't know if Tim should receive credit for the NC sudden independence from the eboard, as at least, two of the members have gone on record in this forum saying that would reject any UA like contract regardless of whatever the eboard has endorsed.  Tim was the first on this board to question this "monumental" agreement with UA for which I think everyone now this was a POS. As a result, I like to think will go on strike first before accepting any like agreement in the future.

Now if I could only learn to write like Chock Jockey, then I would be complete.

What he said
There you go you happy now 7OO
He isnt asking the CWA legal for anything.

Your own union has to make the decision since you have the language.

I asked you are you going to honor a picket line if the IAM strikes and will the CWA honor it.

The IAM legal is working with the TWU to coordinate, not the CWA.

You still arent answering, so it seems you wont honor the picket line.

my own opin  I think most unions might support us and the 142  but in reality  there will be a large nbr of folks will work   in the event should we and 142 strike.

I think the  more unions and people that support the iam groups  the better it will be for a better contract and bad for mgmt.   I don't think mgmt. realizes the magnitude of the fire their playing with  or may be theyre testing the fire to see how much bigger it can get

Robbed,

Unfortunately, I think Mgt knows many people are living paycheck to paycheck, regardless that they are no longer earning less than $10/hour as with the old America West days.  The more one makes, the more one spends.  I see these guys in PHX making big dollar commitments to major purchases even while the future of PHX is unknown and there are rumors of a strike.  Are those people going to say that they couldn't afford to strike so they scab instead?

Forgive my ignorance, but I thought we filed for a proffer of Arbitration 8 months ago.
UnitedWeStand,

We asked to be released 8 months ago which must be preceded by the proffer of arbitration by the NMB to the Union and the Company and rejected by one or both beffore being released by the NMB to a 30 day cooling off period. We have been waiting for that proffer. We have been in mediated talks for well over a year. Hope this clarifies?

P. Rez

There has been talk of a release eight months ago like P.Rez has stated, if you havent begun to get our house in order, you better start now.

We were prepared in 92 when we went out, and we did, so if it takes a strike to get you a CBA, better be prepared to do it.

Get a union plus credit card and transfer your balances, they let you skip payments due to a strike.

Call your lenders and see if they is a grace period like a one month skip payments, you will be surprised that most companies will work with you.

The IAM has been down this road before, its time for the members to take this advice and warnings and be prepared, Doug and Al dont respect you, show them you mean business.

In our situation, it is good that both the TWU and IAM are in the AFLCIO due to the Association agreement.  Seems like the Pilot union agreement has deteriorated and APA has now switched its position according to USAPA. Who knows but imo it now looks like management and APA are teamed up and will force arbitration since there seems to be some interpretation problems with the seniority agreement of the two groups now. http://www.thestreet.com/story/12449062/1/american-merger-brings-another-seniority-battle-for-us-airways-pilots.html?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO

jester  I think youre right bro  mgmt. knows it all too well too.   in the mean time  im getting my things in order in the event of a strike     dp and ah care about only one thing  money  profits    they are 2 of the worst enemies in the airline industry

We are both a part of the AFL/CIO with or without the Agreement Tim. In case you needed that clarity.
