So its ok for josh to lie and shown to be wrong then the facts are posted?

And yet he continues with his lies and no one says anything except me and maybe a few others.
I don't agree with everything he says and I don't think he's lying all the time either. when you confront him on it ,I take it with a grain of salt because you paid or not are clearly an IAM apologist. In other words you are the opposite of him I figure the real truth lies somewhere in between

We TWU members over at AA have always felt it was a conflict of interest watching our work disappear and end up in the hands of American Eagle while the TWU represents them as well.
I agree, glad to see some AA fleet weigh in

Why respond at all? What is your infatuation with an (ahem) “Financial Officer” who stalks pro-union posters all over these boards spreading disinformation? Further, your devious, ambiguous, and poorly cloaked antics are the reason you lost credibility to begin with. You truly believe you are smarter than everyone else don’t you?
Ouch! That was just mean of you roabilly! You grumpy man. Lol

Im tired of the aflcio excuses that we all blame the non aflcio pilots for giving up rjs. Its about time our collective nc teams get their heads out of their asses and get our peeps the work of these narrow body jets that the airlines keep expanding with cheap labor piedmont and cheap labor air willie and cheap labor eagle. We cant keep blaming pilots as we lost 70 seaters then 76 seaters and now they want to pinch 100 seaters as rjs. Now is the F time because aftera new ta ratifies it will be another 4 or 5 years to get a joint ta. And alot can change in this industry without forward looking educated researched nc members who also have stones.
Again, i dont give a rats ass if someone is paying dues but doing our work. Puck that.

That's a big problem.
Just like DGS, you will have a "in-house" ready "C" scale workforce. Eagle (or Envoy or whatever will be called) will be mainly a ground handling operation.

You guys just have to limit the growth of this operation due to strong scope. Otherwise it will get out of control, and start taking your jobs. Funny thing is that DGS and Eagle does a lot of our flights, and with our bad contract, they will be doing more, since we don't have a in house "C" scale operation.

You have to keep in mind that whatever union prevails, if the membership isn't wary, that union will love this. More duespayers in lieu of good paying decent jobs. WE see it starting already.

Don't get fooled!

American Eagle ramp employees are broken down into 3 groups. The TWU represented ramp are at DFW-JFK-LAX-ORD-LGA-MIA-RDU only. Then there is the station agent classification at about 120 cities where they are cross utilized as ticketing/ramp/ops/cargo...etc, and they do handle mainline at quite a few stations as well as other airlines. And then there is the Ramp Handler classification in which the starting pay is $7 and tops out at $8 or $9 with no benefits of any kind. AA put these in some of the cities that just got outsourced and they ended up picking up a lot more work from other airlines....their just a basic ramp vendor that is owned by AMR under the AE banner.

Yeah. The ready made "C" scale workforce. Coming to a station near you.......
AE is now doing UA work in 6 cities that was recently outsourced. I know that ROC and MDT have Eagle personnel. And I know more will follow.

Good for the protesters!
Keep up the good work and the pressure on!!!!

My previous job before BK was outsourced under 1113 in BK. That job went to AE (yes, a high seniority job) and now I work beside them watching them do my previous job and represented by the TWU...how nice!

Baggage Handlers?

No, not slamming the act of protest, just the verbiage on the signs. Baggage Handlers? Is that the title of the classification? Does the cover of the contract say between US Airways and Baggage Handlers?

Ugh.

I don't disagree in some way but if it said fleet services the average Joe would have no ideal what they did

Well let’s see... associating, cajoling, and coddling a complete outsider that works in finance... Yup- that’s what’s good for Fleet Service! Perhaps you should go the next shareholder meeting, and solicit them to join this forum.

I’m sure they would be more than happy to come on here to trash talk the union, and divide the membership with you all the way through negotiations!

Hat's off to those in CLT, and the other cities, that showed up on their own time to picket. Thank you. With that said, did the NMB, The Company, and the Union actually meet today or was it postponed due to the weather? Anybody know?
