You have shop stewards in your area. Plus there are several people over there on the email briefing that I send out. I don't think your on it. Shop stewards passing the word along and email briefings is how the majority of the people found out. We have shop steward elections this Thursday maybe you want to vote for the stewards that will let your area know. Plus I have never denied anyone getting on the email briefing because I have always said it's the best way to get the word out about something due to our lack of time in the grievance office. Hopefully you can Incourage more people over there to sign up.

How many times since you have had my cell number have you ever called me about getting on the email briefing?? I'll answer that for you. Zero. And no it's no problem putting a sign up, except if we had time to walk and put signs in each break room then we would have time to brief about it in each break room, which we don't have the time. As far as the shortage of shop stewards in your work area, sounds like some people need to step up and care to represent. Want me to put your name down?

A paper is on duty all the time where a briefing sees maybe 15 or 20 of what 80 people ?
 
as for your kind offer to put my name day I believe I will pass, I did that once before and was not even offered training as some were but thank you.

Kinda knew what the answer about steward would be before I even asked. It's funny how the few areas that say they are the most uninformed which is your area and bagroom, are the only two areas we can't get anyone to step up and be a steward. Guess that's just coincidence. I'll make a deal with you. How about when I have Info that I need to get out, I make you my Info guy for your work area? I can call and let you know and you can help spread the word over there. Will you agree to do that?

as an aside many of the stewards went away when it opened, something I am still against to this day and since it's open I failed to see why bagroom lead is closed

Ok good!! Problem solved for your work area. Thanks! As far as the bagroom leads being closed, we filed a grievance on that at the same time as the international one, it's just the international area being closed had no merit to it. Bagroom leads being close is a little better case. But I think we will still win it.
