2014 Fleet Service Discussion

I have been kinda quiet lately just reading and reviewing what has been posted, and I have af few observations.

1) I agree with Tim insofar as I don't think the Association will prevent the TWU from filing for SCS, as if some new unrecognized conglomeration will void or neutralize the TWU's legal obligations.  If is was that easy to avoid legal commitments, then any group could re-constitute itself into some new "association" and delay taking any required action.

2) I am somewhat perplexed by P.Rez comments in this forum claiming the Company proposed a "POS concessionary BS offer" while in the break rooms he has state the Company has offered only to bring us to the same deal as AA.  Is the AA offer a raise, comparable or a "POS concessionary BS offer"?  I am under the impression it is a a raise, but as the AA agreement was forged in bankruptcy now it is "concessionary"?

3) I believe the Membership needs to see what has been offered as by all accounts in this forum there is not legal obligations to prevent such actions.  As we are now at a declared impasse, and there appears to be some back room deals in the works away from the NC, the Membership has every right to understand what has been offered by the Company.

Bingo!

And yes, the company did offer alot moe earlier in negotiations. In fact one offer brought us up to amr wages but had a loss of some scope attached. Imo that offer, while not acceptable, was a baseline that AH used for further discussions. When team delaney (not necessarily the nc) decided to protect their political interest and once again strategize in ultimatum and "drop dead" negotiations, AH offered less. As Team Delaney intensified its drop dead policies, AH has now broken it off in them and completly stripped all other offers by offering a truly pos 1%.

Seems ole al doesnt have much toleration for politics and figures just like ua management that if team delaney wants to F over their members then nobody can stop them.

Jester, few usairways members posting on here truly understand the irreversable damage. None of those who drink the kool aid will even open their eyes and learn from the united members who left 12%, free medical, and job security on the table and instead got $0 prior to joint talks. If you even challenge the current insanity from the kool aid, you may be ridiculed and hated.

Jester,

I have been stating in the breakrooms that the Company is offering us a POS. To explain myself here, for topped out employees, we only received 1% raise in 2012, 0% 2013 and 0% 2014 which leaves us at minus 5%. This is basically what the Company is offering us with no back pay and not keeping up with inflation going forward. Nothing else is being offered and they continue to compare us to AA which is a bankrupt cba. This is clearly a POS offer and concessionary.

To be sure, those siding with Team Delaneys kool Aid concoction have to necessarily pay no attention to the iam stated position explicitly saying stand alone talks are "finis' at nmb single carrier ruling. They also have to necessarily believe an arbitrator will intentionally break the 30 day timeline he was contracted on, and have to somehow have faith that labor law will part like the red sea and that an unborn concoction will release the twu from all contractual obligations. All at the cost of irreversable harm to the membership due to politics.

The reality is that there cant possibly be any irreducable item that can be simplified to void out the legal timelines. A release may come and we ought to hope so but it wont come for both groups. My hope isnt that mx is released and use fleet service to get a contract only to find fleet service loses its dance partner and becomes buried even more in never neverland.

wikileaks, who is not running for his agc election, already informed us of the offer. However my private conversations with wiki informed me that previous offers were much better than the current one.

Pat, why have the offers continually got worse as i informed everyone? Instead of claiming that im close to AH or a prophet, maybe your team should consider your strategy????

prez  that is one he!! of a POS contract   I personally would shoot it down and tell those dirty f..ks to take it and stuff it where the sun don't shine.   What angers me  and probably most is the fact that they give AA folks 4.3% even if its ch11 style  and here we are still stuck at the 08 crap   What a bunch of flippin arse morons running the airline        SCREW THEIR ONTIME CRAP  MAKE EVERY DAM PLANE LATE    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Why aren't you telling us not to shop at Walmart.........if we were sucking off of the dues paying members, like you, we wouldn't have too.

If it is true that there were better offers on the table ..........then the NC has failed the membership.

Dave,
When are you coming to MIA? You said before you got your non-rev privileges back. Will you fly AA or US?
