The individual known as charlie Brown strikes me as being competent , it's hard to Guage a person without really knowing them but that's my off the cuff appraisal of him.

P Rez is the best qualified for his current position in our 1000 plus station.

MB a.k.a. Freedom.......you have had the opportunity to meet many members of the NC at the PHX information meetings from what I am told.  CB sat right in front of you on one, maybe two, occasions.  At least you had the time to come up and ask questions and listen to them.  Think about them working hard for the entire membership and trying to get the best CBA for our workgroup.

Sorry Tim. I just don't see yourself or your team playing nice with the remaining incumbents for the next two years. Regardless of what Delaney might do; it will be you against them for two years. The campaign to clean out the remaing incumbents in 2016 would begin July, 01, 2014. I see two years of in house pollitical back stabbing. Unlike two years ago... the positions of DL 141 President and S/T are not on the ballot. What happens if Delaney doesn't retire?

ROA, I don't read anything "Josh" posts but I 100% agree he's a fraud. No way would some one from JP Morgan be on our thread. All the more to take away any creditability that Tim may have. Just my o2.

Well, let’s put it this way... it WON’T stop EVER, as long as Nelson is alive! He has politicked this way for almost 30 years, and I’ll assure he won’t stop, even if he wins the election!

Speaking about artie, how many people showed up to nominate him anyway? 100? 200? 300? maybe 500? Just because PHX nominated artie, doesn't mean that the nomination speaks for all 1000+ fleet there. Maybe PRez can shed some light on how many people actually showed up at the local to nominate artie.

Well, let’s put it this way... it WON’T stop EVER, as long as Nelson is alive! He has politicked this way for almost 30 years, and I’ll assure he won’t stop, even if he wins the election!

You are absolutely right, my motor doesn't stop and won't until the good Lord takes me or our people finally get what they are paying for.  I can walk into any breakroom, anywhere and get the whole breakroom to admit that our representation isn't worth the $700 a year we are paying.  That's a problem.  At any rate, I'd like to know what your boys have done in the last 6 years other than BS?  Don't be shy.
 
BTW, it's called democracy.  If you want a union that does away with voting and free democracy then you should go elsewhere. Otherwise, stop complaining about elections and start respecting the process.  The team I'm on got 25 locals to nominate and endorse us, so how about having some gosh darn respect for the voice of the people?   Sheesh!

I feel pretty good about PHX, PJ.  I feel good about PHX and PHL, and DCA.  We may pull out more votes in CLT than MF but I'm not as sure about CLT.    BOS will vote for the incumbents even though BDL and PVD were tossed under the bus by MF.

I thought I would have a little fun with this one. According to Payscale and BLS reports the average person who lifts bags in the US makes roughly $12.00 per hour. Now that is Part Time with NO benefits but for the mathematics we'll leave that out and pretend those $12.00 per hour guys are all full time.

I think you guys topped out make $20.50 right now? (More is coming)
$20.50 x 40 x 52 = $42,640
$12.00 x 40 x 52 = $24,960
                               -----------
                               $17,680 difference in just base rate (No extras like OT and bene's)
                                -00,700 = $16,980

So for a $700 per year dues to your Union you make in the range of at least a $17,000 profit. Or you can look it as you invest $700 per year for a $17,000 per year return. Do any of your other investments get that type of return?

Of course again this was a very crude example since most NON UNION workers are part time and part timers outside of a union don't usually get ANY benefits. And I didn't include all those goody little extra's that you get having a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
