Last week of June.  The T/A is finished but it won't come out now cuz the incumbents would get eaten alive. The only thing they had left to do was the scope but that was suppose to be conceded for a no layoff bridge. 
 
I'll recommend a rejection over the terms that we have heard but I still think that the union leadership, whether me or anyone, should bring out the proposal for a vote.  I am totally against holding the members hostage because 5 of our members claim "The proposal doesn't meet their standards".   The bylaws allow the NC to bring it out with a recommended rejection, but let the members vote on it.   If the members vote for it then on to joint talks.  If the members vote against it then it gives the NC the consent to ask for more. 
 
 
Again.......Show the terms...  We have been waiting !!!  I can differentiate YOUR Term 1 sheet from YOUR updated Term 2. 
I want it stamped here for all to see...You keep talking about it ! Lets see it and stop Baiting the NC..

My first quote of you above, "We disagree", is fine because people can disagree with each other and have a spirited debate. The problem with you is the other red highlights above. What makes you think you are leadership material when you talk down to the membership? You need to calm down and talk to people. Maybe him and others are upset because the leadership hasn't gained our respect since it hasn't done anything but talk down to the members for as long as I can remember?  Everything Tim has said has come true, everything the leadership has said has been a lie or not been revealed yet.  I am disappointed that our leadership feels it has the right to dictate and not provide information to us.  Tim gets information and has always been deadly accurate with it.  Tim has a way of saying things that doesn't come across the best but every one of his points is true.  He is different as well and won't just be a bobblehead so I for one will vote for him just to have someone who offers a different opinion and seems like a fighter.  I'll also be voting for you and all other us airways candidates and speaking for clt I believe most of us will split the tickets. We shouldn't have to vote for candidates who will never represent us but I disagree with you and Tim.  Tim doesn't want anyone to vote for the us airways candidates on your ballot, and you don't want any of us to vote for us airways candidates on his ballot. Both of you seem contradictory.

You are the type that gives politics a bad name. You will say or do anything to get elected. You are completely wrong about a ta and you need to check your source again. How about ending your bs rants and calling people names that disagree with you, ok? You can't though, because you are obsessed with power.

Your boy AV is telling people I am going into management if I lose. I see he is getting his lessons on bs campaigning from you. Let me put this out for all to see, "I will not seek a management position if I lose, PERIOD." What a piece of work he and others are for using that type of bs. How about you and your ticket telling people why they are qualified and leave the bs name calling out of it, ok? AV has never been a shop steward or anything else and has never even had a conversation with me, yet he hates. He is not building any solidarity amongst the membership. He has never to my knowledge helped in any way any member. He wants to start at the top without ever proving himself, laughable if not for how that will hurt the membership.

Just use the report feature when he posts all the UA people's politic rhetoric, he is just grandstanding. Yet he hasn't answered how he is going to achieve the Nobel Peace Prize for how he is going to walk into negotiations and get it all and solve all the grievances. He is a joke.

Why do you feel that you have to tell us that you are going into management?  That sounds odd. Now you have me thinking.  Why can't you and nelson make up and just push for all us airways candidates?  Politics suck because Tim outs you then you just out AV.   My pronto request is to ask for you and nelson to give out a term sheet for us to view when making a decision about the progress in negotiations. Tim seems ready to step up to the plate so he will have my attention when he does so.

Please stop BSing here. While you are correct that there are 3 AGC's running for positions on both slates, please kindly remeber to also include that on the unifiedforchange slate, it takes away 2 EBoard spots away from US, spots that US currently has, and hands them to UA folks, further outnumbering US more so than we currently are. You twist the truth and do not tell the whole story just to sell your position. Not the quality of a good leader. A good leader tell the WHOLE STORY, not what he/she only wants people to hear. So to answer your question correctly robbed, yes there are the same number of AGC's running on both slates, but the UfC slate is attempting to replace two spots on the EBoard with UA people, spots that US people currently hold.

How about puting out a letter from a US member on here, instead of trying to get us to go on the word from the UA folks, who, IMO, probably voted for the cash, all the while saying that they voted no. Laughable. Do you have any endorsements from US members for the US candidates?

i did. I put letters of endorsements from all 3 hubs at usairways. i feel pretty good about the sUs members as they are totally disappointed in the negotiations.

You are right about that.  I know CLT isn't too happy with these negotiations.  We heard the same thing you did about the pay. Is catering on the chopping block as well?  All our reps tell us is that negotiations is all about give and take.  Funny, but all we have been doing is giving ever since I could remember without any taking.  Getting American wages sometime in the future is disappointing to me.

I organized to get the TWU in at AW and have done nothing but fight management for the 27 years I have worked here so when AV is telling everyone that I will go into management if I lose, it pisses me off. That would be the dumbest thing ever to leave a represented group to be an at will employee.
 
As for you supporting US candidates, I have no problem with that. I am not telling people to vote against anybody nor will I call anybody names for doing so. I support my ticket 100% but respect any other opinions. 
 
As for a ta, we don't have one. If we did, we would put it out and as it currently stands would recommend a rejection.

  A term sheet will not and should not come until all negotiations are at an impasse or done ! Tim seems to know what is going on from an inside source but won't put it out because in the end ( which is not here yet ) it possibly will be wrong although his campaign is based on the fact that the NC has given up instead of adding....
 I didn't see where Rez said he was going into Mgmnt. Someone else insinuated that in campaign rhetoric

catering is up for grabs in a game of pick'em supposedly the offer is 12 flights or catering and tower as a concession for higher pay with a counter no layoof letter. Nobody has thus far agreed to it and although i wouldnt be surprise, i still find it hard to think these guys would be steamrolled that bad.

You will lose CLT with politics if you don't put anything out.  We have been hearing some disturbing things and if the leadership doesn't want to recommend a rejection then that tells us something isn't right. It's pretty clear that management is thinking we are all dirt and that's one thing you and nelson have said but at least nelson is willing to put out what management thinks of us. If you don't then that just looks really bad and puts up a red flag.

in fairness to prez, he isnt the only negotiator. Ive been telling them that they should put it out to the membership, however, imo, they are intimidated by management not to and would much rather put out an acceptance recommendation and sell it on fear that if you vote against it then u wont vote for ta2 for years.
 
Is there a reason why they didn't put you in negotiations? Why not give you a chance to clean it up as you say? As is, it seems like there is mass confusion. One day we talk strike, the next day they talk progress. Nobody seems to be home as us members suffer and are left out.  You got my attention on catering now but why did they give that up? Is that the give and take part where we get higher wages but catering has to pay for it?
