Another East "Ace" strikes again!  Let's dust off another pedestal!
this reminds me of a paraphrase of an old saying "better to be thought of as a fool than to hit the keyboard and remove all doubt"

all the pax can be happy your dumbass wasn't at the controls

Watching from a nearby plane, Dave Olinger said, "I saw the plane come down with its landing gear (hitting) the ground abnormally hard and it bounced back into the air. Then it continued to try to land and it went out of my view as I saw a massive cloud of dust come up from behind it."

Who knows...a few more bounces, they could have ended up in the Delaware River and had a book deal.

So this Dave Olinger is now an expert representing the NTSB? I see. I've no possible idea yet what took place there, nor can "you'se" have..."fellow pilot". How about we all wait to see and hear what happened first, just a crazy thought on my part. Seriously; what's the sick basis for some of "you'se" having so dramatically pronounced a need to prove yourselves to be such amazingly ignorant and petty little infants at every possible opportunity?

I'll again suggest that any from the APA side take proper note of the true "quality" of yourself and some of your fine bunch in PHX. I've no doubt any "fellow pilots" anywhere couldn't help but be mightilly impressed, though perhaps not in the way you would imagine.

what it amounts to East is that an east pilot manage to land a 50ton plane on a river and him and everyone on it walk away. It seems to me it sticks in their craw a bit, so they are left with taking cheapshots.

Any of them would have written a book as well trouble is most of em would have been on the bottom of the river.

A book deal - things people want to read about.

In stark contrast to the West pilot group who, the day after the merger closed, were out back burying the stinking underwear that was their America West leProsy.

Slapping American Airlines all over their Facebook profile hoping the scarlet A will be unnoticed.

Snap I always thought your were an AZZ.... but God knows your just a self centered SCUM BAG!!!!   154 lives were at risk and with just 2 people requiring medical attention, thats a Great Job by the Crew, both Front and Back!  If it was You, I would give you Kudos Too!   To Blow a nose tire at rotation and ingest it into the engines and put it back on the ground safely speaks loudy about the Pilots abilities.

What UA membership did is Their issues and should be discussed on the UA Board.  We have enough of OUR own problems that what UA has/had and will have honestly, does not concern me.  I work for USAirways, NOT United
Whatever.....you have (anger) issues.

Still Hoping for the 777 you tried to grab with the United Merger? Hey, AA has em.

Looks like the latest East bid has been amended - adding 30 more new hires for June.
Suck on that.
No more East-West with AA.

Gear up...

I'm glad you are accepting the fact that the APA will be representing ALL the pilots of AA. They'll be most impressed with the departure of USAPA. So, don't forget there are some resolutions along with the packing and the phone call to....2 Men and a Truck.

BPR First Quarter Regular Meeting Reminder

In accordance with the USAPA Constitution & Bylaws Article V Section 3 and USAPA UOM Section 3 Paragraph I.a.1, the 1st Quarter Regular Meeting of the Board of Pilot Representatives will commence at 0900 ET on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, and conclude at 1700 ET on Friday, March 21, 2014 or at the conclusion of business. The meeting will be held at the USAPA Offices in Charlotte.

Submitted for next week:

RETURN OF ANY DUES FROM DECEMBER 30, 2013 ADVANCE CHECK
WHEREAS many of the Phoenix based pilots chose to take the December 30, 2013 45 hour advance from US Airways,

WHEREAS those pilots paid USAPA dues obligations for those advance wages (as USAPA is the then recognized collective bargaining agent for all US Airways pilots),

WHEREAS those pilots that elected to take that December 30, 2013 advance would then have 24 equal deducted amounts to repay the company for that advance,

WHEREAS that deduction is then taken into consideration regarding dues obligation for each paycheck, and thus deducted from the eligible income,

WHEREAS USAPA may in the very near future no longer be the collective bargaining agent as a result of the ruling of US Government agencies,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that USAPA will return to those Phoenix based pilots the difference between the dues obligation that was paid for the advance wages from December 30, 2013, and what has been offset on the wages following December 30, 2013 (while USAPA has been the collective bargain agent),

AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that USAPA will do so immediately (within one week) of the termination of USAPAs services as a collective bargaining agent (provided that this event happens before December 31, 2014) without fail.
