I just got finished watching the PHX crew news videos from Friday.
Five or six of the broken down video were about the pilot seniority integration INCLUDING a threat from one about lawsuits (what a surprise).
I think Doug sends Scott in to handle it because, quit simply, he tells it like it is and....Scotts words......"not trying to blow smoke up somebody a$$"!
Yes, he said it. A$$!
So in short, the FOUR TO FIVE WEST PILOTS in the room were effectively SHUT DOWN BY SCOTT. SHUT DOWN!
Don't believe me, watch it yourself. West pilots are stuck.....STUCK...in PHX with no hope of bidding out until at LEAST late 2016 and with a high degree of probability 2017 ASSUMING the integration with all the hundreds of different servers, software programs and computer code that has to be addressed before they get the opportunity. Scott addresses this. Also Scott wanting to rebut the first guys assertion that AWA bought US. Scott handled himself very well over this issue and he refrained from stating what he already stated in the past: that AWA didn't have the money to BUY US Airways, they merged AND that without the merger, with the HIGH OIL PRICES AWA pilots wouldn't have the opportunity and jobs they have now. LVS closed and the pilots based there (actually based in PHX because LVS was a satellite base) were brought back to PHX and the pilot stagnation that ensued was a result of a lot of that.
Listenning to the first pilot speak about the evil USAPA was worst than ten root canals and was VERY embarrassing. Its a great thing he is retiring in less than two years. George Maliga was an embarrassment as well. Sorry for no spoiler alert but watch it nonetheless. It's a great lesson in self pity and delusional distortion of reality.
The seniority arbitration, according to one pilot there is under the M/B statute. That is the ONLY thing he got right. Here is the real truth:
The three arbitrators for the SLI are bound by M/B and THE NEW CONTRACT that the seniority integration, after the constructive notice (CN) date is determined and ALL the data complied by the three committees is verified and agreed upon (DOH, furlough dates as of CN, leaves, etc.) and compiled are determined AS OF DECEMBER 09, 2013. READ THE MOU/MTA/JCBA: STATUS QUO IS LEGALLY AND LAWFULLY DECEMBER 09, 2013. ALL CONTRACTS BEFORE THAT ARE NULL AND VOID TO BE REPLACED BY A FULLY IMPLEMENTED MTA (which occurred when the JCBA was approved). Even the west argued (and lost) in Silvers court that the MOU, voted in by a very high percentage of PHX pilots, stripped the Nicolau award from them in the MOU by their OWN admission in court.
The Arbitrators are bound by the law, the law is the contract under M/B and the West can argue what they want but I suspect that if and when the SLI is complete the Westicles will be in court again doing what they DO BEST: sue and LOOSE.
The FOUR pilot groups will be divided for quite some time and in the meantime....according to Scott.....this year will be a record setting year for profits and the AAL juggernaut will be on a roll. At least five years plus of contract bliss from the APA is what the New American got out of the deal, growth for East and LAA pilots with AOL pilots LOCKED IN PHX.

I didn't see the one from PHX yet and can't find it posted, for that matter, but it seemed from the presentation in CLT that their earliest hopes for escaping the desert are at best late 2016. It certainly seems that "you'se" will remain geographically challenged for some long time to come kid.
