And, I guess that means America Worst acquired American Airlines, too, huh?
America West did not have to come up with the cash to make AA's payroll like what happened with the acquisition of US Airways by America West Holdings.

The difference between me and you is a multi-million dollar retirement. Presently at 7-figures and plenty of time to build on it. Enjoy that mobile home in S Florida.

Your fatuous presumptions of "impressive" (and you must imagine even intimidating "wealth") are most amusing, but in truth; our differences are immeasurable;  the only similarities between "me and you" is that I'm also a carbon-based life form. 😉

"Presently at 7-figures" I should perthaps run by the Family for a few chuckles.

"and plenty of time to build on it" arrogantly presumes on God's Will child. "Thou shalt not know the hour or the day"....

It's obvious you are a carbon based life form known as pond scum.

It's funny how you don't want this airline merged for your own selfish reasons. I'll bet the other employee groups want to get it finished.
True

A little history:

Delta/NW. (According to Siegel). Merger announced April 2008, combined pilot agreement June 2008, merger completed October 29, 2008 and pilot agreement was effective the next day. Shortly thereafter, the combined SLI became effective. Single FAA certificate Dec 31, 2009 and the first combined vacancy bid also published in December 2009. 14 months after the merger

UAL SLI award September 3, 2013, first system bid Nov/Dec 2013. 2 months after the award

Take your "righteous" anger out on me aloft for the whole world to see kid. Demonstrate even a fraction of all that AWAsome "talent" we've seen bragged about. Show everyone everywhere just what a true "spartan"...umm..."pilot" is really all about! My wager's always open...and you're apparently "rich",  so where's the problem kid? 😉 Let me guess: "Mommy bought me my license, so I are a pylut, and nowadays even a "spartan soldier"...just ask me?"

In all fairness and kindness; I certainly wouldn't want to delve too deeply into your vast, personal "wealth", so how 'bout just even loser pays all expenses and buys the victor his dinner?...Well...with an extra $5-$10K thrown in just for luck perhaps? 🙂

Don't forget that "This is Sparta!", after all....?

Wager? Are you still looking for someone to play with? I'll bet you're really good playing with yourself.

Btw, if you got someone to "play" with you, the bet should be put in escrow, because I'll bet the bet would not be binding if the results were not as you expected. 😉

The company is more than  happy to play along with the USAPA example by keeping employee groups divided which translates to no joint contract and lower wages. That's USAPA's legacy. A pro-company association with it's guns aimed at the pilot group it claimed to represent.

A legacy of shame.

Let me guess: "Mommy bought me my license, so I are a pylut, and nowadays even a "spartan soldier"...just ask me?"

“As of September 27, 2005, US Airways Group, Inc. was acquired by America West Holdings Corp. in a reverse merger transaction. US Airways Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates a network air carrier. Its subsidiary, US Airways, Inc. (US Airways) engages in the transportation of passengers, property, and mail. As of December 31, 2004, its subsidiary operated 281 jet aircraft and 22 regional jet aircraft; and provided scheduled service at 89 airports in the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. The company is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.”  Bloomberg Stock Research – US Air Company Overview
Here we go AGAIN!  That may be BLOOMBERGS OPINION but the FACTS are contained in the 10-K.  Bloomberg (the liberal rag that it is) may have an OPINION but if you READ the LEGAL SEC DOCUMENT SIGNED BY DOUG PARKER the "reverse acquisition" is an "accounting practice" that reconciles the different issues between different companies to address BALANCE SHEET ISSUES.

YOU ARE WRONG, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT AND MAYBE YOU SHOULD PRACTICE WHAT YOU LEARNED FROM THE BERNIE MADOFF SCHOOL OF INVESTMENT.

Reverse Acquisition

Definition: reverse acquisition is an acquisition in which the entity issuing securities is designated as the acquiree for accounting purposes. An example of a reverse acquisition is when a privately-owned entity wants to become publicly-owned, and does so by arranging for a public entity to acquire its equity interests in exchange for the equity interests of the public entity.

.... with it's guns aimed ....

I just love all that "spartan soldier" tough talk. Grow Up already. "guns aimed" aren't really as cute as "you'se" might imagine in even your most childishly "heroic"/"dire wolf"/"knights"/whatever fantasies, and with that I'll leave you to enjoy yet another day in PHX/Fantasyland.

The AA reps I've spoken with don't seem to want to have anything to do with Dean. He's had a few missteps which exposed his true nature. They've also noticed how cozy you all are with Kirby.

Keep applauding him, it's very telling.
I'd rather be cozy with Kirby than with YOU westicles.  The power of the APA is over, or for at least +5 years its all about EAST now!  Ha, ha, ha, ha.......the PHX crew news last week was the latest cartoon (with Maliga and Stockwell) making faces and weird movements making all of you a laughing stock.

I've been around airplanes since I was 10 because we had a Cherokee and a Baron in the family. Licensed by 17. A quarter century later, I am being challenged to a 60-plus year old to silly challenges. Who needs to grow up?
