Cactusboy53 was a PHX rep. Now you know how the west group was so ill informed. Dave is clueless.
Dave laughed about LOA 93. Staying on LOA kept a JCBA away.
Dave,is now getting a taste of his own medicine.....

As do I. Just imagine having to work with some of their gems that've posted here over the years alone (spittle/drool/froth/WAAH!)...Not to mention the scinitllating cockpit conversations that'd only be possible with the likes of EastCheats over such deeply philosophical issues as Apple IPad logos.....

And this has clearly granted your pilot group absolute power and the utmost respect from management as well, as demonstrated by 10 years now of complete stagnation, all your angrilly frustrated and inteminable whining, and of course your confinement in PHX even into any at all foreseeable future. Whew! What can be said here?...Other than hearty congrats for so wisely placing yourselves on the "winning" side of things.

Yeah, yeah...We know: "This is Sparta!"....Right?  Or do you need your much earlier offered "brilliance" quoted by the applicable posting numbers? Heck; we could even throw in your cute little video/movie clip of the mighty King Leonidas kcking the Persion messenger into a pit if you want...? How's all that purely childish and entirely mindless arrogance actually worked out for "you'se"?

P.S. What happened to all the promised mass display by CactusPilot1 of "Liberty" ties in the public meeting with management? I didn't see so much as even one....? But then; perhaps they were shielded from view by the torrents of angry tears.

“…The Arbitration Board conducts an evidentiary hearing, with witnesses, evidence and a stenographic transcript.  The Board’s Opinion and Award are to be issued simultaneously, within 150 days following the PID, unless both pilot groups and ALPA’s President agree to an extension.  The Merger Policy provides, “The Award of the Arbitration Board shall be final and binding on all parties to the arbitration and shall be defended by ALPA.”  No ALPA seniority integration arbitration result has ever been set aside by the courts although some dissatisfied pilots have challenged the award before administrative agencies and the courts.”    US AIRWAVES article; June/ July 2000. Judge Sliver called it right. The slime balls will change their position when it suits them.

So, a contract's since been ratified....Why don't you have your Nic? Don't burn out whatever few synapses you've yet available with much attempted "thought" there.

You're stuck in PHX, with no end in actual sight. You've people so stupidly naive as to imagine that since you've been such hugely supportive/knee-pad-equipped "useful idiots" for management that by "making" your precious "feelings known" that they'll actually give even the sweat off a gnat's arse about you in any way (seriously; how incredibly clueless can human beings really be?) and you're clearly about as angry and frustrated as people can get.  I'd have to say that the "slime balls" seem well ahead in the point spread.

You called it.

USAPA’s Position is Unwise
USAPA has succeeded here but it is a Pyrrhic victory. As contemplated by the MOU,
in the very near future an election will take place and a new representative will be chosen by
all of the post-merger pilots.13 It is almost certain USAPA will lose that election. Once that
happens, USAPA will no longer be entitled to participate in the seniority integration
proceedings.14 The Court has no doubt that–as is USAPA’s consistent practice–USAPA will
change its position when it needs to do so to fit its hard and unyielding view on seniority.
That is, having prevailed in convincing the Court that only certified representatives should
participate in seniority discussions, once USAPA is no longer a certified representative, it
will change its position and argue entities other than certified representatives should be
allowed to participate. The Court’s patience with USAPA has run out. USAPA avoided
liability on the DFR claim by the slimmest of margins...

Hey Scabus, are you one of those people who had a mortgage with a variable rate, signed the paperwork and then decided to walk away when the rate went up?
😉

Umm...Does anyone have a "spartan"-to-english language translation for this?

"USAPA" hasn't stagnated in PhX for a decade, and is not still stuck in PHX for likely two years to come, and has instead seen first year newhires upgrade to Captain seats in the meanwhile, with even new hries gaining wide body seats as well.  Carry on about the evidenced brilliance of the "Army of Leonidas" position as you wish.

It must be hard to understand something you don't have.

Integrity.

Ya' got me there kid. I've no "Integrity Matters" T-shirts, nor even a "Dire Wolf" one, and I've no fantasies of being a "Spartan" or even "Knight"...and I'll have to forever just struggle by in life with my actually "Been There/Done That" mementos, but I think I'll yet make it through another day.

It's funny how you don't want this airline merged for your own selfish reasons. I'll bet the other employee groups want to get it finished.

How much ya' really wanna' bet that the whole world's just all about welcoming PHX into the fold? 😉 Name even one possible reason the American pilots could ever even conceivably have for wanting anything at all to do with "you'se"?...Perhaps so's to access the vast resources of PHX?...Or perhaps just to be flying with such pathetically treacherous creatures as have (on video) demonstrated such an eager willingness to "turn in" their supposed "fellows"?
