No way will west pilots initiate any action against AA. west pilots WILL initiate action against other pilots. It is their heritage.ANSETT, NICOLAU, and now, action against Legacy AA furloughed.
west pilots will initiate legal action at the drop of a hat. Jacoby and Myers was the commercial on television they saw in the day care center. Over and again. Now, they unhesitantly reach out to Marty for comfort.

I hope the pilot group does not know about your plan to pay USAPA dues and join as a member, else I fear for your safety.

Anyone who supports a leader like John McIlvenna who throws out veiled threats is just as sick as John.

The company is more than  happy to play along with the USAPA example by keeping employee groups divided which translates to no joint contract and lower wages. That's USAPA's legacy. A pro-company association with it's guns aimed at the pilot group it claimed to represent.

A legacy of shame.
We need to get our collective group together to fend off any delay tactics in the next negotiations then. If we get this SLI done and then implemented prior to the next negotiations, and put or differences aside, we stand a better chance of significant gains.
I say we rally together around about fall of 2018 to strategize upon the up coming negotiations. It also would be a good time for base transfers and equipment bids to happen. We could all feel we speak as one collective then. I'm looking forward to base integration and flying with all my fellow APA brothers as we move into the next contract negotiation openers. Around about fall of 2018.....

So true, anyway the EAST will have retired about 650 of its pilot force, and the WEST can continue to service those smaller California cities from the PHX hub, heck maybe INDIA who knows! MM

That is hilarious. USAPA is the poster child for delay. I am reminded (by USAPA specifically) of the fable of The Scorpion (USAPA - if you're confused) & the Frog (The Spartans).

Thanks, but we'll swim to the river's edge without the weight & deceit of USAPA.

See you boys at the table.

All those having retired with an utter and COMPLETE loss of the DOH chase. The KIRBY proposal would have allowed the retiring A330 Captain with another $750K! Epic USAPA failure!

See you at the table MUT.

No telling what those seasoned arbitrators will decide. You might read Arbitrator Javitz' exchange with East MC Chair Pauley to get a taste.

I hope you all use your seat well and don't foolishly overplay your hand, like you have long accused the East MEC of doing.

Uhh, my DOH is serving me quite well, thank you! And the reflective equipment bids on the east as well as the west will be adhered to by the Arbitration panels respect of the MOU's "No bump/no flush" provision. So, all of us (east and west) should'nt wait till the list is done, go ahead and bid what you want. Trust me, you might be best grandfathered in a spot that the arb's won't allow you to attain if you wait!
I don't understand the PHX guys outlook in the town hall, if you want something and you can hold it, bid it! It might not be available after arbitration. These arb's might do something crazy, like put new hire 3rd listers ahead of seasoned pilots in the west list. Trust me, stranger things have been attempted, and this time it has "Federal backing". This binding has teeth.

True.

It's clear that Kirby and USAPA were made for each other.

I'm impressed with the responses to the Crew News.

So what you're saying is that since the first final & binding arbitration was not "backed" by MB, you (being the larger body) are within your rights to lie and cheat so as to gain a better position.

And NOW since the process is "protected" by MB, you will now be held to your commitment? Further, USAPA will now advance "3rd Listers" in front of AWA pilots because USAPA has delayed the implementation of the Nic (still the ONLY lis on Parkers desk)?

Oh, I'm sure the LUS/LAA SLI Arbitrators won't consider that "overreaching". See you at the table Slick.

This time binding means binding, CB53. Remember, they are serious men doing serious business.

It should be noted that there are indeed three lists, not because of the 2005 TA, but because of the MOU that West pilots rafted by 98%.

The West desperately wants to use nullified agreements to deep six everyone.  They select various unlawful lists from various mergers and want to use conflicting methods from different periods all to their advantage, and the disadvantage of all others.  The APA will not sit still.  And the arbitrators will not be hoodwinked into to validating an unfair land grab attempt.
Spoken like a true hoodwinker otherwise known as a Sooner. You made your land grab. Let's see if you can keep it.

SOONER
a person who settles on government land before it is legally opened to settlers in order to gain the choice of location.

2.
a person who gains an unfair advantage by getting ahead of others.

I'm impressed too. 98% for the MOU, but now they are getting serious.

Voting for the MOU=USAPA decertified.....Seriously
You should have told the guys in the last PHX crew news. Evidently they thought Kirby was supposed to have been decertified.
