On a slightly different note, I'm looking for a "citation" in one of the numerous legal briefs submitted in these many years. It has to do with the CBA being a "federal contract". I can narrow it down to being within the past year and was in one of the West's legal briefs.

Other than that I can't seem to locate it. It could be in one of their submissions to the BOA I just can't seem to find it. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

I'm not coming here to have a debate about anything. I'm just asking for the help to find the citation. I also believe it was a citation from a lower court ruling and not the Supreme Court.

Aww heck. Let 'em romance with lawyers for as long as they want to out in PHX. Just look at how far all that's gotten them already...and it's only been almost 9 years now, so one can clearly see all of "sparta" is on a continuing winning streak, so I say just leave 'em free to keep doing what they do best.

P.S. 2025 might be a bit extreme, but given any access to lawyers/"enough rope"/etc...well; it's nowadays axiomatic that the "spartans" will continue to hang themselves in perpetuity.
 
Perhaps instead of a brazen motto of "This is Sparta!" and childishly incessent babblings about T-shirted/self-styled-"Integrity" or infantile fantasies of being "battle" tested "knights"/"dire wolves" or even supposed "soldiers" in some purely Fantasyland "army"....they should instead borrow from Walt Kelly: "We have met the enemy and he is us!" 😉

Nearly nine full years of observed history later: "Another gross miscalculation by the west legal brain trust" would somewhow fail to surprise on any level. In full fairness though; eight plus years of fully proven idiocy shouldn't make me unduly cynical, I suppose, so perhaps they're finally being truly "clever" this time...? 😉

"The Westies' lawsuit"...? Again? Sheesh!...After nearly nine years now; it's becoming increasingly difficult to even guess which one(s) of those anyone should most live in dire fear of anymore...or even imagine the number of knee pads they've worn out "worshipping" lawyers along the way.

The ties are probably more durable, so I'm guessing a 3 to 1 ratio on replacing pads. Perhaps they missed a profit opportunity.
