Merger Mania A Publication from the AWA MEC Merger Committee July 22, 2005

By Kevin Horner, Vice Chairman, MEC Merger Committee

The Combined Seniority List
For every pilot who is protected against some adverse consequences arising from the normal operation of the seniority list, there is another who may be disadvantaged.

Thus, for example, while a condition and restriction that places a “fence”around a domicile can help prevent pilots from being displaced, it may also prevent opportunities.

2018 till Gilligan gets off the West island.

By then, Legacy American and US Airways will have hired 1500.

How many American West pilots are there again?

If it didn't work out as planned, then explain why I'm still getting awarded equipment and base bids with my original DOH?

Do you expect that to continue in the future? I hope you are prepared for your own years of stagnation for those stolen upgrades. 😉

Take note of the powerful evidence of a fair result

Good thing USAPA is going to represent the west in the sli...wait.... Never mind.

Be sure to tell them APA what your bringing to this merge, hey Kev maybe you can hep out.

One of the four Leonidas LLC directors is apparently now employed as an American Airlines pilot;\

Having Kevin Horner associated in any way with this DFR only hurts the effort. How can he adequately meet the fiduciary requirements to fairly represent the class? Our sources have told us that Kevin Horner’s current union, the APA, is furious with him for his participation in a DFR suit against another union.

You are by far the dumbest of the westies, you gave that up at Wye River, remember or were you not here at that time.

Prepare to stay locked in PHX while the rest of us move up the ladder, REMEMBER IT WAS YOUR CHOICE!!!!!!

"Yes, the East offered the NIC. They just wanted to protect their retirement attrition, which stalled by the change in Age-60. Looking back, that offer must look like a home run to any West pilot right now,"

"Our former MEC and our union leadership played a very high stakes game of poker by not dealing at Wye River. Freund was right, we were risking everything..and right now, it looks like we lost. They need to take responsibility for that."

KEEP READING THIS DUMB ARS!!!!!

They need to take responsibility for that..

I can understand you hating the message but you don't have to hate the messenger!

And I'm so glad you love those ties so well, you will be removing them shortly. Remember the post you made recently about the tie...... "And there's nothing you can do about it"
You really crack me up!

Let's call it Phoenix-town, Ferguson and Knootz are like Koresh and Jones and you idiots followed............

Can't wait till your westicles file a lawsuit against the APA.

This is going to be fun to watch!

"Jeff Freund is a top-notch lawyer. We have no doubt that he told our MEC the truth about how negotiable the NIC really was. The question is: why didn’t CJ, Bendett, et al, listen? "

The APA is collecting all this information for their case.

Case?

You are hallucinating and are confused about the process. You make your arguments to the arbitration panel, the West makes theirs and the APA as well.

I think you reached in the wrong jar this morning. Those weren't vitamins. 😉

Here is something for you, and it came right from the mouth of Kevin Horner of the awa merger committee. Kevins' words sure came to haunt the america west pilots today......

"Thus, for example, while a condition and restriction that places a fencearound a domicile can help prevent pilots from being displaced, it may also prevent opportunities."

Former america west pilots have locked themselves out of millions and millions of dollars vis a vis being locked in PHX with no 330 flying. For years.
