You are by far the dumbest of the westies, you gave that up at Wye River, remember or were you not here at that time.
Prepare to stay locked in PHX while the rest of us move up the ladder, REMEMBER IT WAS YOUR CHOICE!!!!!!
"Yes, the East offered the NIC. They just wanted to protect their retirement attrition, which stalled by the change in Age-60. Looking back, that offer must look like a home run to any West pilot right now,"
"Our former MEC and our union leadership played a very high stakes game of poker by not dealing at Wye River. Freund was right, we were risking everything..and right now, it looks like we lost. They need to take responsibility for that."
KEEP READING THIS DUMB ARS!!!!!
They need to take responsibility for that..

Guess I have to keep reminding you!,

I'm well ahead of the LuvClaxon, less than dynamic duo 😉
No, honestly you are not. You have yet to have any facts. It is very apparent.
Tell us why the Nic has to be used.

His brain is smoking now!

Hey, maybe he'll tell you the APA supports the west, now that's funny.

Here’s what ALPA National put out. From the great leader himself: January 11, 2008 I believe we all appreciate that, in order to satisfy the requirements for membership ratification, the proposed joint contract must address the concerns of both pilot groups.
The Association commits to fully supporting these efforts with all the resources, both technical and financial, that are necessary for the steering committee members to oversee the development of a comprehensive contract proposal for the joint negotiations that addresses the issues of both pilot groups, including seniority implementation issues, pay, work rules, benefits, and job security. Captain John H. Prater, President

Why would Prater say this Eastcheats? This was AFTER the Nic Award. He is telling both sides to work on seniority. Does not sound binding and he told both sides.

December 14, 2007 The seniority list – and how it will be implemented – is one of the pieces the company and both MECs need to begin negotiating in the process of attaining a collective bargaining agreement. Captain John H. Prater, President

The west pilots refused to negotiate the Nic. Even after east pilots said they would take it after getting credit for their attrition. No, said west pilots. Now the AA merger came and the Nic was never sealed in a JCBA. The train left the station.......

"As Jeff Freund observed in his rebuttal to the East MEC lawsuit, the NIC was not in stone."

In the US Airways America West case, it went to binding arbitration but there was a requirement as part of that that the two unions negotiate a joint contract with the company, which wasnt done yet.

And because it wasnt done yet, the side that didnt like it could prevent a joint contract from getting done. And because of that, the seniority integration never happened."

Please EC, do enlighten us!

Maybe we should send a bunch of cats to PHX.

I think you can non-rev to PHX on a 330..  If the non-revs asked nicely I bet the crew would let them look around, even if they were sporting a Liberty Tie.  The LAVs are huge and there are so many of them!
