I remember a deal called binding arbitration. There was no mention Wye River in the arbitrators decision. If you want a "deal" run along and clip some coupons

I think that had something to with ALPO........

Parker: The binding arbitration youre talking about I think Im pretty sure what you are talking about that was an ALPA process that resulted in binding arbitration. That wasnt a company process. Thats ALPA to ALPA seniority integration that says if you cant get it resolved we go to binding arbitration is ALPA policy not company policy. If the companys in binding arbitration, yea we believe in binding arbitration.




In the US Airways America West case, it went to binding arbitration but there was a requirement as part of that that the two unions negotiate a joint contract with the company, which wasnt done yet.

And because it wasnt done yet, the side that didnt like it could prevent a joint contract from getting done. And because of that, the seniority integration never happened."

The first mistake was not starting Section 6 in June 2006. Don’t blame the East for that one.



The second was not accepting the East’s 40% offer on the new B-757 slots in April 2006. That cost us 8 Captain and 8 FO slots, 16 furloughs. Instead we ended up with that useless B-757 LOU/IOU.


Third was not accepting the East’s 40% offer on the E-190. By turning that offer down, we lost in arbitration and got another IOU.


Once again, U-Turn warned you. Guys, the AWAPPA leaders are the same ones who messed up when they were in office.

You spend a lot of time worrying about the West Merger Committe, Marty, ALPA, Wye River, Bob, Dave, Kirby and Nic. That tells me you don't have much of a case other than being a whiner. I've seen it. It gets old. 😉

Our "DFR troubles" you say...  Do tell us more.   The notion of "DFR Troubles" doesn't seem in the least bit apropos, unless of course your are speaking of the Perpetual Plaintiffs Predicament.   
 
As to the APA joining "our DFR troubles" 😀, tell us how many times the APA has lost a DFR in a seniority integration?   Or ask yourself a more relevant question.... When your strategy of endless lawsuits finally has a success (wink, wink), will anyone ask themselves if a negotiation would have been more beneficial (I mean for the West pilots, as it is obvious endless litigation is best for APA and East),
