Not that the westicles actually did the stealing.  They never had that power.  It was the Tempe Brain Trust that essentially "robbed Peter to pay Paul."  And "Paul" was paid handsomely by escaping hundreds of furloughs that should have come their way absent the robbery.
 
So, if the east gave up 26% of its flying to the west, how many east pilots were furloughed?

I also thought it interesting the referral to the NIC list, with modifications, made by Mr. Harper. What modifications?

I too was curious about that comment.  I thought about it and speculate that what it means is that since the Nic is almost 8 years old they intend to do a "reconciliation" to make it current.  Who knows?

None, in fact the east has hired pilots, including bringing some furloughed west pilots east.
Why you ask?
Because the east:
Retired more pilots.
Expanded destinations and frequencies.
Added international destinations and aircraft (A330) , many of which require 3 and 4 crewmembers.
Had to adapt for FAR 117 ( increase of pilot headcount).

Maybe it is you that needs to take your own advice, no? Think.

The west is on the apa board lamenting on their stagnation.  west is inferring law suits and lack of cohesiveness in the future. They are getting no sympathy from the legacy AA pilots.
 
Figure it out yet west?  Your choice, ass imilate or stagnate.

No JCBA, no Nicolau Award. Just like you need a marriage in order to have a divorce settlement.


In the US Airways America West case, it went to binding arbitration but there was a requirement as part of that that the two unions negotiate a joint contract with the company, which wasnt done yet.

And because it wasnt done yet, the side that didnt like it could prevent a joint contract from getting done. And because of that, the seniority integration never happened."

It's nice to know rather than working on a joint contract you chose to stay on bankruptcy wages and play right into Kirby's hands. 😉

As more gleefully and mindlessly did the west/PHX/"Spartans" ("Then you can live on LOA93 forever!")  The lasting and true "benefits" of your group's incredibly short-sighted and ultimately self-defeating stupidity in even that regard is now easily and clearly seen, and said historical wages are no longer relevant. Seriously: What's your "point" kid? Both "sides" are now paid at the same rates, but PHX suffers far fewer numbers of larger aircraft.
 
Congrats on your great "success" thus far, as wel as your fully demonstrated "brilliance" overall. Have fun vainly searching for crumbs in PHX for a long time yet to come.
 
Before proceeding any further: Yeah, yeah...We all fully get that "you'se" have been "unfairly"...umm..."oppressed", even despite your obviously "righteous" postion, and that some fantasy still exists within PHX that anyone but your own mothers do, or even should actually care. Good luck with that and any/all "spartan" fantasies ever working out for "you'se".
 
The real world often offers some rather unpleasantly harsh and even deadly-sharp edges/corners to the human experience. "You'se" crossed over into even the very gentlest portions of those by "righteously" demanding your new hires be magically made instantly "senior" to "fellow pilots" with as much as 17 more worked-years.  Some actually decent people elsewhere took fully proper exception to that and acted accordingly. Is it even reasonably possible to at all imagine that "you'se" honestly expected your childish BS to go unchallenged?
 
Cry and whine yourself to sleep at night however much you want.
 
Option B? = Grow Up.
