You're lucky that USAir came along and picked up PSA or you would have retired on that POS MD80 flying from LAX to SFO instead of on the 330.
Better than PIT anywhere.

Lucky?

More like UNLUCKY.

I'd say you're lucky.

Talking about POS let's talk airlines.

USAir PI & PSA - which one was the POS airline?

I think only one regional airline qualifies and it isn't

Piedmont or PSA.

USAir didn't save anybody including themselves - they only
dragged everyone else down with them.

And while your checking patients into Bellevue Hospital, don't forget to admit the former airline pilot that enjoys beating up rental cars with a baseball bat.
Also wheel in the frustrated sexagenarian that didn't finish high enough in his USAF pilot training class to get a fighter, but fancies himself as the ultimate dogfighter. And his hoping above all hope that someone, anyone, will accept his challenge to prove himself.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8GAWEVNQdnI
Spittle speaker, pay protect man, neon shirt man, and howler are all on video...

It really bothers you Ferguson told you and the scab union to go "F" off, and it stuck.

"sit down Mike, you are making a fool of yourself".
You could have walked away with the nic in hand by offering a 3-5 year fence. It more than likely would have been accepted and look where you would be. Greed has destroyed the nic. Life is about negotiation, not winner take all. You gave it away!

So, AGAIN, you're one of those "special" people that somehow thinks there was someone representing the AWA pilot group that had the authority to negotiate away from the product of a mutually agreed upon process.

Let me try to explain this, AGAIN. No AWA pilot had the right, authority or legal position (or suffer legal consequence) to do that. JUST like no US Air pilot had the right, authority or legal position (or suffer legal consequence) to alter the Nicolau ARBITRATED list.

YOU should have accepted the legally produced list & moved on to a new and better contract. You chose delay and 7 MORE years on LOA 93. Now that's moronic.

Real men of genius they are, guess that's why they are the only ones locked in the fishbowl.

Bottom line kids, NO NC FOR YOU!

Sure Johnny Boy. You've got nothing to worry about. I'm sure the BOA fully understands how trodden upon you've been at your legacy airline.

True, no single pilot had the right to negotiate. But it was indeed an option for the AWA group. (LOA 93 was far better than giving our seniority away to a bunch of kids.)

Absolutely WRONG. There was no means by which to "vote" away the final & binding arbitration. Saying so and crying WYE over and over and over simply doesn't make it so.

We have successfully killed little Stevie's DOH plot. In fact, your East a pilot Seniority Committee is violating the USAPA constitution. Maybe you should sue them.

Caught in another lie.

Both are POS.

You're not even a real pilot.  You're scared to death of sitting in the left seat.

Dad sucked up to the powers that be and got you a job that you never could have gotten on your own.

I can understand you're wanting to distance yourself from a giant screw up. Say whatever makes you feel good.

You're lucky that USAir came along and picked up the Shuttle.

That was the best you could get after flying your DC3 from Boston to Provincetown.

And even luckier that "My money's on Doug Parker" was successful in crafting the world's largest airline combination. Otherwise, you'd still be on LOA 93 making $85/hr for the rest of your career.

You should thank the next real AA pilot you see for letting you ride on his coat tails. Which is probably right where you'll be when the fair and equitable seniority list is rendered. Good luck Strath!

The Shuttle was a profit machine.  That's why numerous majors made runs at it.

Your little California airline struggled in that department during it's entire history.  That is a simple fact.

One more fact.  You were a no balls Captain and a very weird dude.  How many of your fellow retired PSA captains are reading and commenting on AirlineForums.com?  Better yet, who among them is maintaining an inane and embarrassing personal blog featuring "cool" airplane pictures?  Do you think that those ex fighter jocks you flew with would be caught dead spending their retirement years that way?

You are a true embarrassment, Sir.
