Just a kindly suggestion: Indugle in all the "spartan soldiers" nonsensical fantasies that suit "you'se", but I'd strongly recommend not presuming on God's Will as if somehow being your own....Ever.

Who knew? The most vociferous proponents of their own self righteousness could also so easily engage in repeated sacrilege (with self-testaments and borrowed illustrations employed to pay homage to their self righteousness)?

Truly bizarre... "protest too much" comes to mind.

Indeed. "illustrations employed to pay homage to their self righteousness" were initially serviced by just the "Integrity Matters" T-shirts alone. After that infantile idiocy; it seems there were/are no boundaries of any kind to be found.  "Truly bizarre" is a very gentle way of putting it.

Jesus can speak for Himself as to what He wants. He said a lot of things, but I suspect the top of His list is that we would all:
1. Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your soul, and with all of your mind
2. Love your neighbor as yourself
3. Let your "Yes" be "Yes" and your "No" be "No" for whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
 
Doing #2 or #3 will gain nothing if you haven't done #1, but if anyone does #1 correctly, then the others would naturually follow with an obvious answer as to what we should do in an event or circumstance that relates to honoring a commitment.

I'm always willing to strive for spiritual gain, so perhaps you could now take a moment to clarify how "Love your neighbor as yourself" is best exhibited by anyone trying to place even their youngest and least experienced new hires as falsely "senior" to other fellows of their same class and craft who'd already worked some 16+ years?....?
 
Print up as many ridiculous T-shirts and ties as you will. Shout out "This is Sparta!" to your heart's content, even fantasize yourselves "soldiers" and "battle"-tested-"knights"/"dire wolves"/whatever,  but kindly spare us all any entirely self-serving and wholly faux "morality" lectures in the process. Testing the absolute limits of other people's even most charitable tolerance for childishly absurd fantasies fails to serve any of "you'se" position well.

Well, apparently we're all worse than "a murdering dirtbag" for not granting poor, noble jake/"LT Hardy" any increase in pay. One must now feel very sorry indeed for the lad, given that even as a "trader" he couldn't seem to manage any actually useful income from it, we must now assume.

Bottom line, another example of when the west is given a seat at a table, but others do not have to have any concern of their participation.
