No, he got a 17.5% paycut, lost paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, just like the rest of us.

One difference though, he can draw his pension plus his paycheck, that is one more item that none of the rest of us will ever see if needed. Seems the company unilaterally took that 70 1/2 pension issue away also.
