For someone as proficient as you are at verbal vomit with lots of big words your reading comprehension skills are lacking. What in my post indicated in any way that I am embarrased by anything to do with my group.?

You aren't..? Not at all?....in ANY way?...Ever? That's honestly amazing, and is the point. (see prior reference to Pavlov/etc) Heck..I couldn't ever say the same for myself or my/ANY group...No matter. You've posted many indications of being quickly made uncomfortable by "lots of big words"...so...just leave it with this = Irony 🙂

New Westoff Avoidance Program. (NWAP) SEA-PHL I am hearing the eastern division has a new path of avoidance to the chronic Westoff jumpseat denials which apparently run very high. ALASKA. You can now avoid the continued Westoff problems. Enjoy the company of a non Franke reared group of professionals.

I have personally given two SEA-PHL-SEA jumpseat rides. Carried one guy two times, mid fifties A330 capt. The other a 63 year old e190 capt.

If there are more SEA-PHL commuters, I am sure they might take your advice and ride ALASKA. Particularly the guys too ashamed to dare show their faces to a West crew. Speaking of SEA-PHL commuters....does this guy still fly on the east after having stolen a West job?

This, at least, is one issue we've never argued over nic and I commend you for your principles there. You and yours are always welcome on any aircraft I'm operating as well...even though the only time in my entire life I've been offered rude discourtesy and denied a jumpseat was due to a west person, who would nonetheless be afforded respectful treatment as well, should he wish a ride. I can make no overall judgement of your group from personal jumpseat experience...since that event so disgusted me that I lost all thoughts of ever thumbing any rides on west planes. Some levels of infantile behavior, regardless of "sides", are simply too low to sink to...no matter what.....period!

I remember when we west guys got our releases down in ops at out stations. I was in Dallas and went down to get mine, then went to the computer to look at the weather and there was a flight bag with one of those stickers right by my foot when I sat down. I doubt that was anyone's real flight bag, I bet it was an old empty one put there for a reason. Despite what they later filed in the RICO suit. I didn't even touch it, much less....well you know...

I saw plenty getting in and out of crew vans. One guy told me.."ya know...its going to go DOH" I said "that is fine with me".

Still not sure he understood....... I meant he can have his 2005 hire date.

I've never denied an east jumpseater yet. But then again, I've never had anyone directly involved in the Rico suit ask for one.

Well...on a completely different subject...the F/As voting down their TA means West cabin jumpseat is still available.

Given the extent of your supposed "crime": You were dealt with not only unfairly but at a just-plain-crazy level LS, and I can, from the sidelines only admittedly, at least partially understand your feelings. I'm willing to guess, to your credit, that you would still have difficulty in denying even a jumpseat to those who wronged you,,,,just sayin'...Not sayin' that were I you..I wouldn't be momentarilly tempted to do so....

I was kinda thinking the same thing.....I would hate to break a perfect record of having never denied a seat...but if say Bradford, Mowery, Theuer showed up???? Lets hope there is a seat in the back and the F/O ain't a Cactus 18 defendant.

Those FA's I've spoken withn today seem pleased that the "offer" was rejected. I'd be curious as to how the west FA's feel about it...but..well...we're getting into the FA's business here. It's not as if we've any lack of our own issues to deal with 😉

Holy ...., your perception is uncanny. And it is also part of why I don't really hold the east group at large responsible for what has happended, as asinine as that may sound to some people. I met many of those people responsible for that rico suit in the federal building in Phoenix way back when. It is true, there are some that had a hand in that rico suit that I don't think I could deny if they asked for a jumpseat. Hell, there is at least one west pilot I'd deny before anyone.

I don't think there is a shits bit of difference between the east and the west when you break us down to percentages. If the west had a numerical advantage and felt similarily aggreived, I'm not at all sure anything would be different. Something about locks keeping honest people honest.

OK, good for you. It went down 90% and then back up 14%. Nice.

Actually, in the 4 years I've owned it, it never went below what I paid for it. Of course, with you being such a creepy stalker, you probably have my address right now. Amazing how much of a bitter old pill you are. You deserve to be in Filthydelphia.

Ha, you are so freaked out by your paranoia about stalkers that you forgot to beat your drum of one note.

So you can spew venom from your keyboard 24/7 and support with a clear conscience (ok, benefit of the doubt) a "union" set out to eviscerate west pilots careers in order to redistribute the seniority wealth more to your liking, but you are a generous provider of jumpseats.

What was that about irony?

Personally, I don't feel the jumpseat should be a safe haven for those who commmit to taking money from me. To say that the jumpseat is off limits, is to trivialize the seriousness of the civil war the east has chosen to wage. However, I do also recognize that USAPA was about 250 votes from never seeing the light of day, so there is the potential for some east pilots to be anti-USAPA.

Probably 100% of them are when trying to get to work on the last flight of the day.

1) Yes. Should the day ever come in your life that you gain even some slight understanding of actual principles of any kind....this concept will no longer seem so incredible to you. Good luck with that. Nic4us and I can throw mountains of endless, snarky BS at each other here, and will never see eye to eye on the seniority mess, but wouldn't deny each other a jumpseat.

2) No surprise is really even possible there. See 1) above. Two words = Grow Up!

Indeed LS. Imo, without the seniority debacle to deal with; there's more in common for most than that which seperates us here. Of course; in any given groups of people..There will always be those that simply "don't play well with others". That's just part and parcel of the good old human condition. I would have wished things to be other than they are. While an ardent believer in DOH/LOS...it's fairly admitted that any actually workable compromise that might have prevented this whole fiasco from launching would have served our groups' mutual, best interests far better than the existent conditions. Oh well...there's always something afoot to keep life interesting, I suppose....
