Term sheet the way I read it, apa gets a frozen A PLAN with company continually funding it (milions) for the aa pilots.

LCC is not in bankruptcy and has record PROFITS...AMR is in bankruptcy.

My pbgc check from a former airline kicks in at age 60...but it's not that great/seven years with the high 5 year%.

I'm not crying young man. What the hell is a union for? UNIONISM? OMG, please stop the presses. usapa is not a union but a bunch of corrupt east pilots wanting to gain on someone elses BACK. With an even more CORRUPT company complying and going along.

Usapa at your own making is screwing the pooch on this AGAIN.

And yes, I do let me REPS know...something you east guys should've learned from your past mistakes.

Here on the WEST, when we were ALPA, we recalled about every 6 months if the reps didn't preform to our liking. It was like a revolving door for the local reps. How many times you east/alpa/usapa clowns were recalled? ...0...

Obviously you're happy with a CORRUPT UNION called usapa.

I know you are working hard at trying to get the best contract, but unfortunately this MOU is a kick in the teeth. Why would we give up Scope and Change of Control for a mere $10,000 bonus? What happened to RLA procedure for getting what's owed to us from the point of the amendable contract date? This bonus??? Doesn't even come close for all those years of Bankruptcy Wages, not to mention the fact that we were promised parity with the West from day one when we signed a contract. That bonus number has got to get a lot bigger, before I'm voting YES. I will vote strongly NO for this MOU.

Dear Executive Branch and NAC,



After having read the MOU and watching the events of the last week, I would like to say I am appauled that a single one of you would send this MOU out for ratification. If the executive branch and the NAC think this was acceptable then it is either a sell out or being totally out of touch with the constituency.



Let me remind each of you that we are NOT in bankruptcy. We have sacrificed enough and now you propose we sacrifice even more. Further, what you are suggesting may provide some short term relief for the most unaffected seniors but at the expense of every other pilot. I find this shameful as best and will serve to create animosity, division, and labor unrest forever.



In regards to the latest follow on letter from the President, it appears that our President is actually doing the company job of hunting for the 'lowest' position that the pilots are willing to accept. That should not be your position. You should be getting the best for the pilots, not the company.



We finally have some leverage and you seem willing to give all of it up for next to nothing. Parker will sell his soul for this deal and is willing to pay. Only a fool would allow him another bankruptcy contract.



Up till now, Parker and Co. have lied and stolen from us daily. Surly you understand that they will continue to do the same and are not to be trusted. I am certain that they must be very proud of themselves knowing you are doing thier job for them.



I have yet to talk to a single pilot that is not enraged, from the most junior to the most senior. The only pilots that would consider this MOU are either out of touch or those that are already reputed to be company pilots.



I have already had several very senior pilots inform me that they would be willing to stay on LOA 93 forever and tank the American merger before they would vote for this MOU.



I have never been more disappointed and disgusted with our union and it's leadership. If this is the best you can do, you need to step down.

It seems that the only ones that recognize the value of leverage and the understanding of the pilots they represent are the BPR. While I am disappointed that they even sent this out, it is commendable that they had the intestinal fortitude to put in a vote of no confidence. It is unfortunate that the leadership did not start at the top.
