Luvn737,
I hear that the Compass Corruption boys are going to reach out to Cleary for some help. The Compass boys reached out to the previous NAC chairman Paul D. for some guidance in a time of need. Ciabbatoni and his boys own this mou! They dropped grenades on Cleary for the last 3 years as Cleary kept this group from major harm. No givebacks at all. The Compass boys and leader Hummel are on the job 4 months have this this group on the verge of gutting our scope. The change of control is the crown jewel and they put it in grave danger. Team Tempe and Glass are laughing all the way to the bank.

Maybe in you got a little more emotional your argument would be more persuasive.

Now I have to ask: what is the "group" to which you are referring? He gave Parker the lowest labor rates in the industry for 5 years and his supporters are trying to make sure that remains for many more. He gave the members of USAPA a bill for millions in wasted legal fees.

The defense of CoC is a transparent attempt to keep the status quo a little longer so that more of those pilots can occupy permanent upgrades in defiance of the Nicolau award. Unfortunately, that minority is not in control any longer and will not scuttle the ship and imperil the rest of us. You know that even if you held onto CoC, it would be the APA who would need to pursue the legal course of action to collect on it, and they have shown no interest in pepetuating the east's wild and expensive goose chases.

Reality has been suspended for the east for many years through the use of an almost endless parade of boogiemen and blame targets, and finally the pilot group and the APA are ready to move forward with a plan that puts money in pilots pockets and puts this destructive civil war behind us (or makes some of the first steps towards doing so). Cleary should read the pilots better if he wants to have any relevant input. The fear button has been pushed too many times.

With a deep breath, the courage to face future uncertainty and the desire to walk in unity, the pilots of US are moving forward.

Join us or get out of the way.

HA!!!!! BY FAR THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE READ ON HERE IN MONTHS!!!! Gee, do you think 5 additional YEARS on LOA93 would qualify as a "giveback"? NO? Right. no "Major Harm" there.

God you people are stupid.....

Never give up. Never take the first offer. There will be ample time for a second offer before the end of the year.
Time isn't the issue, leverage is. USAPA has none.

And what makes you think the phantom 2nd offer will be substantially better than the first. Parker has no history of buying anything from labor. I doubt he'll start now with a pilot group under an injunction.

True labor strength is built brick-by-brick by those with a realistic assessment of where they are at and where they need to go. Only children pout until their demands are met.

You work for AWA! Do you realize Dougie was never going to give you money until there was a transaction. You boys are clueless. Hummel and his Compass boys were making you Westies all kinds of promises. Nice little lovefest. Looks like the Compass boys have some internal issues. Gary's gone wild.

Dear US pilots,

Before you waste any time listening to Cleary's Cheerleaders think about their motivation to demonstrate more disunity among the pilot group. Do they really have ALL the US pilot's interests at heart, or merely the chance to upend the apple cart so they can regain power at a critical juncture? They hurl insults and undermine the current leadership to what end? Do they think that will inspire management to dig in their heels or dig deeper in their pockets? The answer is simple. The more LUV9 and his ilk try to shout down the MOU, the more confident management can be in being able to negotiate on their timeline with a mature pilot group in the APA while USAPA continues to implode.

A YES vote is a vote to move forward regardless of the hollow self-serving arguments of Cleary and his hard-liners who delivered nothing but an injunction in their term in office and offer nothing productive now.

Yes, the MOU is not the ideal in many ways, but the perfect is the enemy of the good, and USAPA in 5 years has delivered neither. We cannot allow those who thrive on disunity to disrupt the forward momentum. Their endless phalanx of boogiemen have never materialized, but we have allowed at least one business cycle to pass us by.

Vote YES and let's move forward together.

Thank You...well said.

Sadly, there is no volume control on this forum (other than turning it OFF, and that takes away my fun!) The flailing and wailing just keeps getting louder.

And what is it all of a sudden with the PIC committee guys? They saw fit to follow the sage advice of their hired guns, but yet tell us to abandon all hope and cast out our own. You can be sure Koseruba (at his age,) Peters (at his weight,) and Westberg (knowing darn well his PIC report is a paper tiger) will all be pulling the "yes" lever comes the day. Airport polls don't match the nyets on this forum, in fact the strange supposed fantasy political matchups of late would make anyone do a double take. Compass Correction going against Hummel, Chip Munn on the money, cats dating dogs. What is next? I don't even think a dead woman or small boy could derail this one.

This will not be "giving up" to fight another day. This will be "getting paid" to stay in the game. It's a no brainer.

Smarter heads prevailed and did the dirty deed to get this thing out. I stand corrected on the PHX vote, they have (heavens!) actually looked at the landscape and will be voting "yes."

Plenty of time to talk the talk. Bookmark this post, this MOU will pass by a 75-80% margin.

Glad driver is now the mou cheerleader. Used to have respect for him, but now realize he is just out for himself after sitting in left seat for many years, 17 years left and vote is no. We have already paid dearly
