Glad driver is now the mou cheerleader. Used to have respect for him, but now realize he is just out for himself after sitting in left seat for many .............

I'm sure he's going to have a good long cry when he learns he's lost your respect.

You lost the respect of most of the pilots in the industry about 5 years ago.

Everyone can't be the enemy!

No= a REDUCTION from the Status Quo. What kind of reward is that for your sacrifice?

Who gives a crap what he or the industry thinks, we all vote how we feel and let the chips fall where they may. But this thingies a pig with little gain

So, if I don't agree with you and vote no, I am selfish and you don't respect me. Well, that's not original thinking but it is common.

I took 3 of my off days and sat at USAPA headquarters and listened to both sides. I listened to our paid advisors...and each one of them said the exact same thing. Then I thought about the past. How our advisors had recommended a course of action only to be ignored by our pilot leadership and to a large degree, the membership. I thought about the terrible price we have paid for each one of those "miscalculations". We pay experts. We are amateurs. Every time we think we know better we are handed our heads.

I respect your right to vote as you wish. You, on the other hand, don't offer me the same consideration. I am making an informed decision. Not one based on hate or rumors, or party lines.

Like you said..."let the chips fall where they may".

This is a flat out no for me. I am finished giving at the office. Do Parker a favor and make him keep the scope. The Wisconsin /republic experiment has sucked the life out of this place. Parker can have his deal if he pays up for it. This deal comes nowhere near.

I'm leaning heavily towards voting no. I'm open to more information and clarification on certain things, but so far I just can't see voting yes.

So how do you see USAPA influencing the discussion which would result in a significantly better deal? Or do you see no downside to a NO vote?

I have done my research. Don't blast me and label me uninformed. We just disagree. I personally called Dorio to get his take, plus talked to stein in dc. Bottom line , we already gave at the office, who cares if it's worse. Can't be much worse, I say grow some balls and stop living in fear from these mgmt clowns

Wife: "What are you doing?"
Pilot (25 year commuting reserve group II C/O): " Voting on a stupid MOU, I'll show that Parker!"
Wife: "Did you get your 50K in back pay in the deal?"
Pilot: "No, the cheap ba….rds would not cough it up." "Voting NO."
Wife: "Is there a pay raise?"
Pilot: "Yeah, about 50K a year."
Wife: "sound of crickets."
Pilot : "sound of click" as he votes YES

How do you see the US pilots as firewalls against a worse offer, given the injunction and the lack of unity? If he ends up not needing the east pilot's permission, will you regret leaving money on the table?

I see it this way. I expect zero better out of usapa. At this point I think we're being had. Like I said, I'm open to more information, but at this point I'm not ready to just jump on this.

Look what's happened so far? Does anyone know just what in the hell is going on?

Sadly, there is no volume control on this forum (other than turning it OFF, and that takes away my fun!) The flailing and wailing just keeps getting louder.

And what is it all of a sudden with the PIC committee guys? They saw fit to follow the sage advice of their hired guns, but yet tell us to abandon all hope and cast out our own. You can be sure Koseruba (at his age,) Peters (at his weight,) and Westberg (knowing darn well his PIC report is a paper tiger) will all be pulling the "yes" lever comes the day. Airport polls don't match the nyets on this forum, in fact the strange supposed fantasy political matchups of late would make anyone do a double take. Compass Correction going against Hummel, Chip Munn on the money, cats dating dogs. What is next? I don't even think a dead woman or small boy could derail this one.

This will not be "giving up" to fight another day. This will be "getting paid" to stay in the game. It's a no brainer.

Smarter heads prevailed and did the dirty deed to get this thing out. I stand corrected on the PHX vote, they have (heavens!) actually looked at the landscape and will be voting "yes."

Plenty of time to talk the talk. Bookmark this post, this MOU will pass by a 75-80% margin.

Well written Greeter. Now carve it into a 2x4 and beat the idiots who haven't figured it out over the head with it.
