I have no problem protecting your position and seniority in PHX. I don't believe you should be able to take it to CLT and steal someone's career there. Are you better off today then you were before the decision?

Ha, ha, but nope. Think further north. I had about 2000 hrs when hired at the commuter and had been flying Chieftains (PA-31 350) in Wyoming and Montana prior.

You have to remember, there wasn't a lot of choices out there when I got hired at AWA in 2004. Delta, Northwest, United, American, none of them were hiring. AWA was my second choice behind Alaska, Alaska never called. I know it was probably stupid of me, but I don't agree with the way Southwest fly’s their planes and the thought of paying for a type makes me want to throw up. Like I said, probably stupid.

3) There is nothing immoral or obscene about the Nic award. This is the 3 highly regarded experts conduct an arbitration that uses numerous lawyers who are also tops in their field, and spend a couple million dollars, while giving everybody their chance to offer their stance and opinion...

Your above post makes perfect sense to me, (which, as the following demonstrates, may admittedly make that a questionable tribute to your thinking at the time) 😉 If you wanna' hear from "stupid"...well...times were different and jobs were fairly plentiful, and with hand-held "ins" from highly placed compadres at the then much younger Southwest and FedEX...I was "too good" to so belittle myself as to merely drive little 737s around podunk nowhere (much less buy a Type to do that!..I mean; What nerve!) or fly a few boxes around at night..and I won't proudly mention the "You're hired! Come in for a class!" from majors I didn't think well enough of at the time. Well...in an inspired moment of true genius..I initially picked Eastern (still Real Eastern then though) Suffice it to say that we'd need more than a few cold ones to completely cover "stupid" in any reference to this crazy business 😉
