Any truth to the rumor that Bruce Lakefield and Al were in ridc park on Thursday
to discuss the office closing

It is my understanding that Al has been working at a feverish pitch at his office, since his return from an extended New Years vacation, getting the company fine tuned operationally. Our system will be soon operating like a fine Swiss watch.... ;)

So the Kremmlin patsy had an extended New Years Vacation???

What about the rest of us....*(&%%@#%^!!!!

"Our system will be soon operating like a fine Swiss watch...."

Is that one that you buy from the street vendors in NYC???

Jim

Actually, my understanding is Al C. took over MAA operations along with mainline, and MAA will now be connected and run by mainline managment.

Al's way of "consolidation" so that he can get more of a bonus for saving even more money...

They will now operate both entities at the bare-bones cheap.

While Unkle A is the front line grunt's object of loathing, you must consider he has risen from regional manager to where he is via the many CEO's at U. They, obviously, place great value on him.

Unkle A is a bellweather. So long as he is here, nothing will really change for the grunts.

My understanding is that Uncle Al and Bruce were actually going to RIDC to personally thank the employees that spent a good part of their holidays in PHL. Employees in the Training department, Customer Service Systems, the help desk and many other departments spent many hours in PHL. These employees are all MSP employees and gave up their weekends, evenings, holidays and put in 12-16 hour days with no additional pay or perk. These were employees with actual SABRE training and could work a ticket counter and gate position. Al and Bruces (cancelled / rescheduled) visit was a gesture to say Thanks.

Bringing MAA under the mainline umbrella is a good thing. Since we operate under the same certificate, it is stupid to pay duplicate positions. The same should happen with the wholly owned express carriers.

hmm didn't Lakefield or some other highpaid dude publicly state that volunteers would be paid regular wages for their help that they ertr not working for free?

These employees are low level MSP (management) employees that were not provided with any additional compensation for going to PHL on their weekends, evenings, holidays or additional hours over their normal work schedule.
