Cactus Flight Ops

That's it, boys, keep the spin going. So two of our guys made more than a single approach into ABQ and landed safely....at least they didn't end up researching how long a 737 can stay afloat in the Long Island Sound. No matter how you turn it, y'all killed a lot more people in the last 25 years than we did.

Experience doesn't mean anything if you don't learn from your mistakes.

Oh, USY1Fare...I was hoping you would be my co-pilot on the inaugural A330 flight to Moscow next year or so (you have flown a heavy jet into CIS airspace before, haven't you? It's no big deal once you get used to the metric system)

Don't worry if you haven't....I'll keep you safe. 😛h34r: B)

I wasn't trying to keep any "spin" going:QUOTE(rjh @ Jun 19 2007, 10:45 PM)

"Yeah, I agree ..since they went around several times, are we to actually believe they lined up for the wrong runway several times?? doubtful"

"Assuming the wrong runway seems a bit far fetched to me as well. I do wonder a wee bit about "going around several times"?????? Were there thunderstorms present?, High and gusty winds?"

Note that my question is prefaced by the assumption that they weren't lined up on the "wrong runway". I'm just curious what caused "several" go arounds. could be a number of things.

Man!!...You ARE truly an unbelievably arrogant, and utterly clueless little pimple.
Here's a suggested point for consideration: It's not your massive (and fully misplaced) ego that makes for any safety aloft, or in life. There ARE things that can/could kill...even a being of such total perfection as yourself. Arrogance aloft = Complacency, and Error.....Keep that in mind.

You sound just like my second ex-wife. (You probably have bigger, but less perky, man boobs) Of course, she mysteriously disappeared after secretly meeting with one of the Jerry Springer Show producers. (Advice to you kids out there: stay in school and don't marry your favorite stripper).

I wonder if this guy is competent enough to fly an RC airplane? Strippers and man-boobs, you have problems...

Boy,

This is an internet forum....it's like the 21st century version of a high school locker room. Everybody lies. Do you really think you're solving any real-life problems by posting on this board? None of these posts (including my own) have any redeeming value whatsoever, other than short-term entertainment. I do enjoy watching you ladies get your panties in a wad about anything I write though.

Well, it's 9PM on the right coast....time to join the real world at reverse happy hour.

And if you think strippers and man-boobs are bad, I guess I better not mention transvestite dwarfs and cross-dressing CEOs.

Perhaps you might be more comfortable resorting back to your light hearted "short-term entertainment" about fatal accidents. "No matter how you turn it, y'all killed a lot more people in the last 25 years than we did."

I'll leave the "strippers" and "reverse happy hour" BS to you. Have fun.

I remember in the mid 90's at AA when the employees around there began to brag about being fatality free since 1979 in ORD. Between 1995 and 2002 things did not go so well. I would never compare a safety record against another carrier's off the blood shed by our fare paying passengers. It lacks class and is disrespectful to those lost. It doesn't help the karma either. Let's focus on real safety issues in a time of stress during this merger.

Sorry to correct your day aqua 😉 ,

If you pass through the crew room in PHL up against the mailbox wall there are several stacks of the latest flight ops newsletter. The ASAP reports are in this newsletter (including the one concerning the interesting cummuter approach to ABQ) .

The current issue's highlight is on turbulence and in flight injuries.

The bottom line is that I hope for safety sake, regardless of how the seniority boondoggle turns out, you ex AWA types come way up to the safety and training standards of LCC.

Best of luck !

TOTAL TOTAL TOAL fabrication, Nifong...er I mean Kubota. Are you that pissed to be below Dave that you resort to making stuff up?

Are these on line anywhere? Couldn't find on the FAA website.

It really is a shame somone would stoop so low in any fourm , public , private or otherwise. Fact is those were more than statistics, they were lives , loved ones and friends.

Judging by your rants I wonder if you're fit to operate a lawn mower , nevermind an aircraft.

Oh sure, now ya tell me, after the the legal fees are paid off and the record has finally been expunged. Where were you when I needed the advice?
