What's new

Colin Kaepernick

He was the ranking Senator who shut down the investigation........he is the one who hid it.

He went to Nam prior to his 2008 run and got the Vietnam gov't to permanently seal records of POW's. Was quoted by someone with him at the time claiming 'if this ever got out, I'll never be elected'....I think it was Bob Dornan.

FWIW- I supported him in 2008 and thought he was a stand up guy. Only after I did some research just this year did I find a lot of negative information on him and his doings. There is a lot of BS out there but you can't make senate hearings, ex POW interviews and other things go away.

What he did to the families of still missing POWs borders on treason.

Yea, I feel you, but, He didn't do it alone.
Care to share the intel?
How many sniveling Rebublirats supported him?
NO Rats had the guts to go back to RVN to save our POW's.
But we did have 'peace with honor' ...😛😕😡

P.S. "Noah collected two of ever animal. Now look up how many species of animal there are in the world."? Umm...you do seem a bit challenged with even this whole English language thing....Just saying.

LOL. If you're going to be the resident grammar nazi you should start with you own.

Have no idea......he wasn't tortured for 5 1/2 years either.....his fellow POWs have made many claims regarding his preferential treatment ......do some reading.
What about the POW familys he screwed after senate hearing where he had records of POWs still in country, sealed? Leaving them available for public consumption would have exposed his collaboration with the enemy, even after the fact he was hospitalized.
I was open minded to his plight until I saw in the senate hearings on POWs, the people who tortured him were there and when he saw them, he went over and hugged those very people.
There was evidence from photo reconnaissance of POWs on the ground attempting contact and rescue as they were aware of Sat intel still looking on the country. There is also evidence that some type of transponders were dropped all over the country where pilots knew how to code in for rescue........evidence was presented to the senate committee he oversaw showing many contact attempts were made and how pilots were the only ones knowledgeable to perform these entries.....and he had all this crap sealed, even above the objections of two POW family groups.....

Do some research......the guys a highly decorated Jackoff.

The only reason you have taken a sudden interest in McCain's service record is his vote against the ACA repeal effort. That's it, there is no other reason. If he had voted to repeal and someone said the same things you are saying about him you would have attacked them as being libtards for disparaging McCain's good name.

He collaborated with the enemy? Any proof? He deliberately hid evidence of POW's still alive in SE Asia? Any proof?

So you were open minded to his plight till you saw the senate hearings on POW's. Was this before or after his vote on ACA?

To dells credit...I disagree with him on damn near everything, but he has yet to utter anything with a "tard" in it. His replies can be quite funny....but he keeps the reply directed towards the issue, not the poster.

I stand corrected. Maybe I should have used wild eyed lefty. My point still remains though.

Well, he admitted he collaborated.
The rest is tenuous at best.
Dude is correct, but he was not the only traitor (if you call capitulation after being tortured as such).

But keep it in perspective.
Merika was never going to go back to Vietnam to go to war to get back our POW's, even though they broke the treaty and attacked the south. It 'sucks' but the remaining POW's were collateral damage.
The gooberment knew they kept approx. 500+ US POW's but didn't have the fortitude (guts) to save them.

This is pretty much documented, depending on what sources you believe.

Before you go off on a tangent......Like I previously said, He had my support in 2008. Always thought he was top notch with his background and so on. One night on the evening news recently, for some reason they had a General on for comment on something...I don't really remember at this point, anyway he referred to Maverick as 'songbird'......I was like 'WTF?'. I made Google my friend and was off to the races......like I said before, there is lots of BS about him, but also there is a wealth of things quite disparaging to his character.

Breaking under torture is not collaboration nor does it make you a traitor.

Documented by whom? JHMO and PO is not irrefutable proof. It's JHMO and PO. When you think about it it makes no sense for the Vietnamese to keep anybody. What could be gained by it? People seem to think that every American shot down over Vietnam parachuted to safety and therefore must still be alive.
