Where was your determination when you sold out the small stations for a few pieces of coin?

This is why it is imperative a strong transition agreement be negotiated with input from both groups.Take the best aspects of both agreements and blend them together so going forward we are on an even footing and the company isn't playing us against each other.

My determination was for my "side" and we won , so I'd say I was pretty effective at that time .

This time my "side" is about preserving jobs , insourcing and increasing our benefits and pay.

...And yet by voting "yes" last time, you completely went against the very things you claim your "side" is for.

Your "yes" vote did absolutely *nothing* to preserve jobs and maintain scope (or insourcing); all you did was give your company the green light to toss both away.

You won?

You didnt win a thing, you showed the company weakness and why dont you go do the houses of those at the outstations who lost their job because of your vote and explain to them how you won.

You really have no clue about what a union is about especially the word Solidarity.

Dont worry if the merger goes through, I think there is a great chance you will be joining them, as PHX's days are probably numbered.

I shouldn't have to remind you that I was personally responsible for shifting who knows how many votes into the yes colum . I didn't win the yes vote alone though , it was TEAM WORK , and now WE are going to work together on the same side to WIN so calm down and relax.

Take heart that rather than fighting against you , I will be fighting with you.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU 700UW AND KEV HIS ARROGANCE SURE SHOWS HE PATHETIC HE WILL SELL OUT HIS UNION FOLKS WITHOUT THE LIFE JACKETS AND ANCHORS

YOU FIGHT WITH US... THATS A LAUGH IN ITSELF.. YOUR POSTS TELL THE TRUTH YOU RATHER SELL THE UNION BROS N SISTERS DOWN THE RIVER WITHOUT THE LIFE JACKETS YOU TRULY WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT SOLIDARITY IS YOU REALLY NEED TO EDUCATE YOURSELF YOU ARE NOTHIN MORE THAN MGMT PUPPET OR WORSE YET MGMT ITSELF PATHETIC

Having your job eliminated, after years of service, is insulting and devestating. It has devestating affect not just on the employee but family as well. I've seen it happen first hand to people I knew and wouldn't wish it on anyone. We need to work together and eliminate the language next go around that affords the company the contractual right to outsource our work, jobs and livelihoods.
PRIORITY ONE in my book.

I hate to think the number of people I work with here now in CLT displaced by his proud yes vote

I was out there at all most every protest , I took part in picketting , I gave my FULL support to my union as we worked for a new contract . How many of YOU can say that you walked the line with your brother's and sisters ?

Don't speak to me about solidarity until you actually DO something.

Maybe if MORE of our union brothers and sisters had engaged in protest we would have gotten a better contract , but we made due with what we had .

May I ask just what you consider your side? What did you win? It's a known fact that you are in a hub, and threw the small stations under the bus for a raise. Don't get me wrong, many do it, but don't boast about it.

I wouldn't say a "great" chance, but it is a possibility. A lot of people would have to go before his number would come up. Interesting how seniority makes some people feel very safe in their opinions.

as PHX's days are probably numbered.
As a hub yes I'd probably agree. It might remain as a Western gateway to Latin America, connecting people between the Western U.S. and Canada to places farther South. Some have suggested that PHX might see a reversing of Mainline and Express operations, which seems quite possible.
