So in the last 30 days, we have the outsourcing of mail handling in ATL to DGS, and now this. All in the shadow of unprecedented profits. I hate to think of what's next.

but hey, pete says a union is stupid and the company takes care of her.

It's funny everyone likes to comment about CVG but I bet none of you have been here recently, or ever, to know what our operation is really like.

Dunno about anyone else, but it's been awhile for me. I would be interested to hear your perspective.

Everyone here has known about the over staffing situation in ACS for awhile. They tried to trim heads by offering packages but most people are too young to retire. So the cuts weren't a surprise but that doesn't make it hurt any less. I talked to one friend who had the senoriy to stay but is taking the opportunity to move out west using the moving package from Delta.
Cargo has been like a ghost town for years and even the facility is way larger than needed.
Delta is still paying the lease on the old Comair terminal C because the airport won't terminate it.
