I was just curious if any f/a's on here have worked the 190 yet? If, so how was it? Can you post some details.

Thanks

Its only been flying like three flights a day for about a week or two, so not many have had the chance to work it yet.

My friend picked one up on the ETB. I would love to get a trip on it... It's just a longer 170 with some FC seats. Everything is the same except the audio system. Really nice plane. If your an Airbus fan it's pretty similar galley wise. Can't wait to be back on it. 🙂

Is the plan then to turn it over to Republic once the kinks are worked out?

Thanks. I never never non-rev anywhere and I am ashamed to admit that I have never even been on the 170. I did get a chance to tour the 190 on one of the road shows and was very impressed with the roominess of the a/c. It looked very nice.

Ok, I'm thinking of picking up a E-190 trip and wanted to know about the service. I have not seen any service flow information at all. Being that the A works f/c before coach is there a set way of doing it? I know we do what we do to get it done but is there an actual way? I would assume we have half sized carts again as we did on the airbus at one time. Where is this information if so? Thanks.

Just make it up, it keeps it real...

I heard on a full 190 the service takes no time at all.... easy easy....

The A helps the B get the cart up the aisle and then helps with the service.

I haven't worked the plane yet, but I would think the B would have the cart set up and ready to go just about the time the A is done with first.

I just don't understand how they introduce a new airplane to the fleet yet give us no service flow or policy and procedure guideline. They don't even show any diagram of the galley before you get on the damn thing. I know a galley, is a galley is a galley but c'mon. I know we all know how to get on there and sling a drink and throw a pretzel but a guideline should be distributed. You get on there with someone who wants to do it a certain way you can fire back and say, "We'll just do it by procedure as a cure all then".

Why not start the beverage cart at row 1 if the flight is full? I don't think the E90 is going mid-con yet...so there is probably no food on board yet.

The P&P has been updated with information and E190 is in blue writing to make it easy to see.

You can view it on the HUB/Divisions/Inflight/Manuals/P&P

Ok this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone but all of the options down the right side column on the HUB are blank. They are obviously doing something to it today. You can't get into any divisions or inflight anything. Thanks for the info though Zarah. Hopefully I'll be able to get into it.

I'm in the process of booking PHL-DFW for late March on the EMB-190 is that considered Mid Con?

Anything past the Mississippi River used to be considered mid-con when we actually had service charts...DFW,IAH,and MCI are considered mid-con.

Piney,

I am going to do the same thing in a week or so and noticed there is actually a meal being served! ...unless the web site was lying again.

I got called out to work it the other day.......BUT...it cancelled. MACHANICAL!! Can ya beleive it???
A meal on U is actuall buy on board. Either the $3 snack pack or the fruit and cheese..ect.
