Flight Attendants Dining and Cabin Issues

I just love how this bunch in Arizona never asks a damn soul how to promote a product. It's like a bunch of kids running around trying to come up with anything to make daddy happy.

Their foolishment is astounding. Their ignorance of their product and how it's presented speaks volumes about their inexperience. The company has put people in charge of dining and cabin that have never stepped on a plane or have never had any experience with the logistics with "doing the work".
 
ORD ... PLEASE post the "link" to your facts..... until then, your facts are about as factual as our rumours.

No messages have been sent to the East which relies on the same info as the west .... We "do" fly for the same airline....
 
Ok I'll have to ask where Hector Adler is during all of this. Styro cups, party cups, beverages NOT compted to first class passengers etc. I thought when Hector and all of his fabulous history came to US he was going to turn the first class product into Condcorde. :lol: First of all, the plastic cup as I've said a 1000 times over is oversized. The first class product and all of the much talked about implementations seems to take forever while anything that is chargable in coach is whipped out left and right. Look I'm all for selling items in coach. It's actually no big deal but selling in first class just goes to show how unprofessional and tacky this management team really is. You mean to tell me with a fare charged in first class a specialty drink can't be absorbed? My God does it EVER end around here? I once had hope when they announced Hectore Adler as VP of inflight but I believe his duties and abilities are dictated buy upper management. This airline is an absolute JOKE. Grab yer party cup guys/gals or styro and CHEERS. 🙄
 
All I ask is that if they are going to make me sell and endless list of items in the back, could they at least use the money to improve the first class product.

The money has already been spent on mai tai and tequila samples to allow management to make an informed choice on what kind they like best.

I'm *almost* Elite with AirTran... I've never been charged for a thing up front in Business Class. I even have a complimentary code to use GoGo wireless.

Its scary that Valujet Air Tran offers more for me than USAirways.
 
OK everyone, are you ready for this??

The West Flight Attendants just received a message on Maestro that the airline has not ordered PLASTIC CUPS and that they are completely out of them at Phoenix Catering. :down:

They then advise us not to contact management or catering regarding this screwup and that we are to serve our customers their beverages in our small STYROFOAM CUPS!!!! This includes customers in FIRST CLASS!!

Now how would you feel as one of the few loyal customers of US Airways remaining at this airline to be served your Chardonnay or Merlot in a styrofoam coffee cup?? Of course, management won't be anywhere to be found. We cannot even call them for crying out loud! Who gets to take the heat and have to apologize to every customer onboard? The Flight Attendants, of course!

Way to go, US Airways! The one thing we do consistently on over 99.9 percent of our flights is serve beverages and you cannot even bother to make sure that we are stocked up with plastic cups?? :shock:

It's bad enough that they pulled the glassware from First Class....but now we are going to be serving Wine and Spirits in First Class in flimsy styros!!

No telling how long this shortage is going to last, but it may be weeks. Funny how this airline will hold all of the front line employees accountable for EVERYTHING, but when a STUPID mistake is made like this by management they simply pass the buck and make us cover up for their shortcomings!

This is beyond PATHETIC!!!!

As a former flight attendant that sometimes had a chip on his shoulder as well I would do the following:

- Talk with my supervisor (the person that likes to write you up but will help you if you ask nicely) and tell them what is going on out on the line. Get clarification on the issue and find out what is truly happening.

- Find a positive solution to the problem other than serving wine out of a styrofoam cup.

- Not air my company's dirty laundry in a public forum like this one.

Honey...I told you Hector needed a job because he was getting the boot a while back. And I also told you that he was getting indoctrinated......brainwashed.....to the Tempe way of doing things.

He is now the "Male Stepford Wife" of Tempe!!!

Notice that we never hear from him and I'm not sure he's alive. Maybe they just sucked the blood right out of him and all he is a husk.

Your so called "Dirty Laundry" needs to be aired early and often on any public forum that will allow you to air it.

Why? Because airlines left to their own devices they would continually abuse employees and customers.

The media helps keep them honest.

You are right - Your potential new customers would never consider going to another airline after hearing these things. They would just understand why people onboard might be in a bad mood.
