in fact, I have specifically noted they aren't.
when? and what did you say exactly.......

you can't accept that DL's strategy works and delivers better results.
and you can't accept that they could be doing better.
All I hear from you is how Delta is this awesome MRO

yet they don't even compare to MROs at airlines like LH, AF/KL, BA/IB......

They could.....just don't want to. that is my point. (I will again however say that Don is doing a great job, in his term 320, 330 c checks have come in-house. Talk of more landing gear and APU work (Airbus for both) more Airbus components, the B8F/CF34-8 engines.)

and most importantly he isn't margin chasing like Tony and.......uhhh..... crap whoever was better Don and Tony.
Which is why in the last few months you have seen more airframe work coming back to Delta that Tony didn't want to do. (profitable, just not profitable enough)

Don (and now Jack/Peter) are big reasons why I wouldn't vote in a union. They seem to get it. Have also heard they aren't in-love with the mexico hangar which is a nice change of pace. Also some other big rumors floating around out there that sound really good. (Very anti to what WT constantly says, lets just put it that way.) We will see if Richard (more importantly Ed) will buy into it or keep the old Delta ways.

So yes, I completely accept, understand and for the most part agree with what Don and his guys are doing. Its a complete 180 from what Delta has been doing in the past.
but it could/should be much better than it is. No reason why Delta can't be comparable to true 1 stop shop airline MROs like what we see in Europe.

or what just happened over at AA.

You know the UA/CO FA's are licking their chops right now......

you hear that only because you stick your head in a tin can to avoid hearing what you don't want to hear and to hear what you do.

I have never said DL couldn't do better.

DL simply is not going to be like the Euro MROs.

If that is what you want, you are the one with unreasonable expectations.

and neither will any other N. American carrier.

DL will insource more than any other carrier and have a level of net outsourcing that is below its peers in N. America.

Dude you are the biggest spin machine in the world. We would all be very smart if we stuck our heads in tin cans when you post.

you clear don't read what is written.

I have provided more links on this subject to data than any other person has ever provided to back up any claim made on this forum.

I am spin in your little mind only because I say what you don't want to hear or see.

the facts are there for anyone who wants to see them.

predictable or not, health care costs are going up across the country while coverage is going down.

The US has long spent more on health care per person than any other country but now that we are trying to cover people who weren't covered before by raising the price for those who were in the system, it isn't a surprise that costs are going up.

further, unions can't do anything about it. Neither can businesses.

rolling back parts of The Affordable Care Act (there's an oxymoron for you) is the only way to fix the problem - unless gov't can succeed in fixing the parts of the health care problem that are driving up prices in the US faster than elsewhere - excessive testing, lawsuits, etc.

Man, you're predictable!
Hate it when I'm right, don't ya'?

Every tax paying citizen knew their healthcare cost were going up, because of BaRack-O-Care!

Well maybe "Almost" all.........guess some of you missed the memo!
