The question is not whether the FAs might want a union but why you are their self-appointed spokesman given that you repeatedly deny any involvement with or pay from the IAM. Your actions cause reason to doubt.

And meto
You all have to get out of the way of the working crew and passengers when on the JS, no?

Because the DL FAs want a union and approached the IAM, why are you against them having the same rights as you since you are unionized and work under a CBA?
It's their choice not yours or mine.
Are you dense or what? I'm don't care if THEY want or have a union. It's out side organizers and agitators like you that I am against. But I've repeated that more then once.

Yes. ..
And your arguments and concerns are rediculuce and just another baseless concern. This has been the policy for years. But then that was DL and WAL . We worked with each other not against. NWA and usair not so much.
It's ridiculous to be concerned that one of our coworkers might get hurt while helping out? Okay then...

All due respect, but unless you've suddenly added "flew for the Red Tail" to your resume, you're in no position to know how it really was. Nice try driving that wedge, though...

So when ALPA organized DL they were all insiders?

Gimme a break, you just dont want the FAs to have a say in the workplace and take a slice of the pie.

The overwhelming majority of people advocating for the IAM are DL FAs.

Every union uses their own people to assist the organizing, thats how unions work.

Too hard to grasp?

FIFY.

with all due respect, the Red Tail airline is dead.
meto doesn't try to tell us what his former employer had or did.

You are a Delta employee now.

No one has a problem if you can find enough DL employees who agree with you and obtain the legally sufficient number of votes to get a union elected.

when non-DL, never been DL people have to be a part of the campaign, there isn't anywhere near the interest you want to think there is and it sure as heck isn't grassroots.

You are clueless, the campaign is grassroots IAM organizers dont have access to planes or areas in the SIDA.

You are not an FA, you supposedly not being employed to be an anti campaigner.

It is 90% all DL FAs who have done and are doing the leg work.

But since you are not an FA and have been gone from DL for over eight years, you wouldnt know this, DL FAs are doing the work to organize with assistance from the IAM, thats how it works, and usually works, but since you are Mr DL Cheerleader you have no clue.

You answer your own question. You are not a DL FA. What they decide has nothing to do with me. But on the other hand for you Union goons it is all about your dues money and power. Do you get it ... It is about ....YOU! .....forge t it .

Goons?

Money?

Power?

Wow, did you take DL and F&Hs talking points?

All the DL reps will be elected by DL FAs.

If you didnt care, you wouldnt keep posting against them organizing.

So ALPA isnt about Money, Power and Goons?

So are these people goons?

Thanks Meto.
No disrespect intended. What I meant was that ...from the former NW fa's that I work with I have noticed and heard the comments that they will work to rule or not volunteer for something extra. The comments are ...its not in my contract. Personally I don't have a problem with that. It is an honest observation nothing more. But then again I'm with LAX senior fa's who tend to be more Union oriented.

If THEY are DL fa's then No.

But if they are iam then they ARE

If you are a DL FA get in that picture.. If not you are an outside agitator. They are fine . It is you that can't see the difference

What is quite clear is you have zero idea on how an organizing campaign works.

Clearly clueless.

The majority of the work is done by DL FAs, is that hard to understand?

They are the ones with unlimited access to their coworkers and they are the ones getting the cards signed.

make it 100% in every aspect of the campaign and let democracy work.

If DL people are as convinced that they need a union as you think, then you should not be afraid to let democracy work.

Seems DL, You, Meto and southwind are not wanting democracy to work.

And nothing wrong with the IAM and pro-union supporters, supporting the DL FAs quest to be unionized, democracy doesnt work on its own, it needs help and support to further it.

And since you never worked an organizing campaign, you have no clue how it works, the DL FAs approached the IAM and that is how it works, the union offers assistance to help them unionize.  Considering DL spent millions against its own employees those employees cant fight DL on their own.
