In a perfect world this would be the contest I'd like to see.

ALL Delta employees get to vote for the representation of their choice. Both Delta management and all labor organizations stay out of the process and let the grass roots employees educate themselves as to what is best for them. Organized or not organized.

Whatever that decision winds up being is where it ends.

What WT and others don't understand is that labor organizations keep coming back to DL because they have NEVER once had a fair contest and the people that work at DL are the ones who keep calling them back because of it.

Labor organizations will NEVER stop pounding on that door until they finally get a fair contest (Like the one AA gave their agents)

townpete if the IAM had not withdrawn their campaign and continued forward those cards would have been invalidated by the NMB and the IAM would have been barred from resubmitting cards for a period of 2 years.

By withdrawing before that decision the IAM is only barred for a period of 1 year.

They can resubmit next April.
