And Kevin is an active employee who knows what is going on.WorldTraveler said:What?
I hate to break it to you but Kev is ONE person. There are 59,999 or so other employees.
Kev gets one and only one vote - if a vote is ever called again for his workgroup. There are about 10,000 other employees in his workgroup who will also get to vote.
Respect is recognizing that the majority of DL employees have no interest in unions; they voted repeatedly against them at the time of the merger and 6 years later there are still no further votes scheduled.
The will of DL employees has been expressed. Respect is acknowledging their choice.
Reality is looking at the landscape of the industry and seeing the number of other airline employees who have chosen to become unionized - and then it makes it very easy to compare what they have obtained for their vote and why DL people - employees and mgmt. - have chosen to continue with a system that clearly works at DL even where it doesn't at other airlines.
You left DL almost 10 years ago, you took the money and ran.
You werent even in ACS when you left.
Looks like to me Kevin is an active ACS employee and you are a 10 year retiree.
Seems Kevin would know more about what is going on than you, and this is a message board, it doesnt measure what is going on at DL, and you left 10 years ago.
