dawg,
why don't you ask that question in a couple of years after Parker has had enough time to reshape AA into his image?

AA, even under native mgmt. started to send overhauls to Asia like other carriers. that trend over time is not going to be reversed.
no. answer the question

who does more work in-house AA or Delta? no subject changing.....it is simple. Who does more work today?

I'll give you the answer if you can't figure it out.

uh... where did I ever say that?
every time it benefits mother Delta. Care to get into the the future of the Delta engine shop on wide body engines again? currently Delta CAN NOT do them in-house.....FWIW.

dawg,
I have consistently noted that AA outsources a lower percentage of its maintenance than any other legacy carrier - or other US carriers for that matter.

but AA also does not insource anywhere near as much maintenance as DL does.

DL insources enough maintenance to offset its lower percentage of maintenance done in-house on its own fleet.

Of course you don't want to include insourced maintenance because it doesn't fit your narrative of DL mechanics being worse off and you also don't want to acknowledge that the chances are more than high that AA will increase its own level of outsourcing over the next few years.

okay thank you.

and again, you have been told 85734507348573895730758347589347589 times. If Delta were to bring in all the work they do out of house (minus the T800 and GE90 engines) , Delta could lose every single MRO contract they have and still have to hire people and add hangar space. So no, Delta doesn't "make up for it".

just the airframe overhaul line alone would require thousands of people. Add in all the back shop work and the APU/Landing gear and Engines. Alot of the back shop stuff sent out is stuff that would require space and numbers. (seats for example)

and yes, when talking about SCOPE you don't include insourced work. Its not something Delta can really control, or promise. All they can do is say the work is here for the life of the contract. No promises it comes back when the next contract is out for bid.

700 are you going to post the Virgin Atlantic flyer again? Looks like your campaign put out a revised version after Bob Baker pointed out their mistake. These idiots don't even understand how DL operates and they want to "represent" the F/As get real!

Good luck to all the DL FAs. It would warm my heart to see them vote in representation.
I guess your heart will stay Cold, we aren't voting in the IAM....wont happen.
This board is one of many reasons why we won't vote in the IAM.
too many OUTSIDERS worried about what WE are going to do....

So you are speaking for EVERY single FA?

When did you survey them all?

So what is this all about then?

When will you stop lying and posting misinformation?

When will you come clean and tell the board what you really do?

Not my job to post anything, call the IAM Transportation Department.

Always a "few" misguided in every group.
This group just happens to have the backing and influence of the IAM.
Again. good luck with the 11,000 cards signed,  not going to happen

btw the vote is going to  happen this year?  or what it last? or the year before?  oh wait next spring?
