it's not a union vs. non-union thing, southwind.
it is about personal integrity.
it is about the integrity to admit that someone else might be right.
Kev can't admit that there were people who told him long before he showed up with his agenda of how he was going to remake DL in his image that DL had a formula that worked and which its people accepted.
5 years after the merger, the evidence is overwhelming that DL people affirm the system that has worked for them far better than any other system at any other airline. the question isn't about anything being perfect. It is about being honest enough to assess and make decisions about what is best, even if nothing is perfect.
The DL system works and has worked better than what other airlines hve done with their people.
it is also about practicing the way you expect to be treated.
to carry around a life's worth of garbage that a person has accumulated along with the all the wrong that have been done against you is a weight no one should have to carry.
given that there are many people who have asked forgiveness for what they have done and yet the baggage not only stays in the cart that has been dragged behind but continues to grow says a lot about the world they want to live in, not the one you have chosen to build, southwind.
this board is the best advertising against the union movement that exists.
I hope you copy and paste posts like what we have been forced to read from some of the people on here very publicly to show the caliber and character of people that are advocating for unions.
