How is sleeping on the floor in the airport or on an aircraft QOL while the pilots are given hotel rooms?

And laboratory conditions arent in effect Piedmont gave their agents a raise when they had their last union vote and the union still was voted in.

I read that it was 200. How convenient.
 
I think they are constantly trying to see how much they can get away with before workers start pushing back. Same story with ACS. They'll take something away, restore some or all of it, and can then sell it as either progress or an example of them "listening."

The true test will be if this current election doesn't result in representation. Should that occur, I suspect things like this will be taken right back.

no, they are not. DL employees have a great sense of how to get what they want.

they will get improvements to what they want because of pressuring the company about unionization and then ditch the union.

the IAM will get played.

You dont know how it will turn out, 12,000 signatures, and you been gone over eight years and never worked as an FA.

Are the vast majority of people willing to trade QOL for a double digit difference in pay - and that is exactly what it will be by the time profit sharing is totaled.

and as much as you and others want to think that AA has negotiated huge advancements in QOL, I GUARANTEE you that there will be clauses that frontline people will find that the union leaders glossed over that dramatically will affect QOL.

 

Kevin can remind me of the rules but I believe now that the IAM has filed, DL cannot mess with major elements of the FA's compensation - but they can do that for other workgroups.

Thus, DL will be passing out all kinds of goodies to the other employee groups and tell the FAs that they will have to wait until the vote is resolved.... so, yes, the FAs might well have just helped the other workgroups gain a whole lot more right now.
Pretty sure they can give if they give to all. 
 
and if they can't, they aren't going to do what you said. Not even close. 
 
This is why you aren't at Delta anymore. The goal is not to piss on employees when they are thinking about voting in a union. Give the other work groups pay raises and tell the FAs "sucks to be you" might be the fastest way to get the IAM in. Anderson isn't that stupid. they till toss as much money at the issue as they can. Billboards, buses, emails, letters, etc. etc.

amazing how someone whose been gone for yrs now thinks for the employees   I'd sure hate to be that someone when the IAM is voted in   then his particular posts saying that the IAM is being played again is brought up to him   Time to get help  and a helluva lot of it
