This isnt about Republic nor does the IAM represent their pilots.
 
Educate yourself on the process, airline management uses the RLA to stall and hinder the process.
 
And go ask the IBT as that is who represents Republic Pilots, not the IAM.
 
Look at the PMCO FA CBA, one of the best in the industry.
On one hand you make this thread about the IAM, then on the other, about UNIONS in general.
So I was asking how the Union is helping the Republic Pilots.
 
So which is it?
Is this thread about the IAM and their campaign at Delta

I have never been a Teamster and that union has a long history of corruption.
 
Organized labor has been around for several hundred years in this country, ever hear of a guild?
 
The concept of a union is a great premise, do you have good leaders and bad leaders, yes!
 
But the members have a say and the democratic right to put people in office and then vote them out.
 
What say do you have at DL in your wages, benefits, and working conditions?

And did you vote on when Dl closed CVG, MEM, MCO, DFW, ANC and any other bases?
 
You dont even realize the Unionized Pilots have a huge say in your job being outsourced.
 
What have you done to stop the RJS from replacing mainline flying at DL and mainline jobs?
 
Did you bat an eye when they shut down Comair?
 
So explain how DL would outsource your mainline job on a mainline airplane in the US if you had a legal and binding CBA that contains scope language that states "an IAM represented FA are the only FAs allowed to work a mainline DL Aircraft?"
 
And the IAM at UA just in-sourced 800 jobs at UA, you do realize UA wanted to cut over 2,000 jobs and wasnt successful in doing that?
 
If you want to know about RP, go ask the IBT, it IBT and RP have ZERO to do with this topic.
 
And by the way, you expect me to answer a question that has to do with this topic, yet when you are asked a direct question that is right on topic, you fail to reply.

And of course

The EIG are puppets controlled by DL they have no legal right to change anything and are barred by DL to negotiate anything in regards to pay, compensation, benefits and work rules.  They dont legally represent you under the law.
 
Three different pay scales for the same job, horror stories about the 330s, 739 and 757 galleys.

the OP of this thread would not have all the facts in this situation because his only source is the World Classless FB page.
He isn't a Delta F/A.  
He doesn't understand/care that there is more to the story here. 
Just pushing his agenda.  
further shows the IAM campaign is NOT about the Delta F/A's.
I would be interested to hear what more there may be.

Before this merger, I'd never heard about anyone having to sleep in a lounge or on a plane, and that includes the mother of all IROPS, 9/11...

Why do the pilots have language in their CBA protecting them from the unlimited use of RJs while you have nothing to protect you at all?
 
Hiring FAs is due to retirements, and DL increasing the fleet size, you have zero job protections, except under labor laws, you are an employee at will.
 
DL has numerous RJ operators that are RJs that arent DL jobs nor provide Job Security for you, the use of Express operators takes your job away.

An individual doing something wrong, doesnt make everyone or the organization corrupt, if you actually educated yourself you would understand the Mafia was controlling the IBT and was placed in a trusteeship by the Federal Government to stop the corruption.
 
So you totally believe a union is wrong in all accounts for failing to reach an agreement?

Guess you never been in a union nor in negotiations, it takes TWO parties to reach an agreement.

The 717's have been coming on line to, wait for it 
to REPLACE RJ's.
these a/c are creating mainline F/A's jobs.
The trend has been reversing over the years. More Mainline, less RJ's. FACT 
 
and YES I'm an employee at will
with over 25+ years!
How long have you been employed by the same employer ?
