AA also took cuts in CH11 dude   I know that from a few AA folks who worked.

WHAT PROTECTIONS DO FOLKS LIKE KEV AND HIS FELLOW COWORKERS HAVE????

700  sadly that clown wont answer your question bro   he is so very anti worker and anti union   just like his fellow follower josh

yes, I know what cuts AA took in BK.

and I also have acknowledged that AA employees fared better between 2003 and 2011 in terms of headcount reductions than their peers at DL, NW, UA, and US where DL employees had a lower percentage of headcount reductions

but AA employees are paid considerably less than their peers at DL and UA right now and AA's status as having the lowest growth in its network means that AA simply cannot retain that number of employees over time while increasing their salaries.

AA employees are still in the honeymoon phase of the merger and Parker has a window in which he can pull off the merger and keep labor peace but that window cannot remain open if fuel prices start to go up or AA's Latin America network doesn't start to turn around - and that is unlikely anytime soon.

no, robbed, I am not anti-worker.

I am pro results which is why I am as critical as I am about unions.

If any company fared as poorly as unions have been in protecting jobs, they would have been shut down years ago.

the only reason why unions still exist in the airline industry is because of laws which protect them from being removed and allow them to continue to collect dues even though they have done such a poor job compared to more heavily non-union airlines such as DL.

Call BS, what about DL's cut in Leadership 7.5?

Forgot that, DL wasnt in bankruptcy then.

And lets go for try number eight:

What protections does Kevin and his fellow ACS coworkers have?

You are most certainly anti-worker, a pro-worker person doesnt make threats to people who work for a company that he doesnt.

you didn't like the first 7 responses that Kev could have easily been cut based on your and his statements but he still has a job so let's say it one more time for all of the world to see.

DL has done a better job of protecting its own workers than AA or UA have done with their supposedly ironclad CBAs that have left DL with more stations staffed with its own people than AA or UA.

and feel free to bring up 7.5 but don't forget to tell us about all of the cuts that AA, US, and UA all made back in that era... it happened; DL just happened to give its efforts a name which can easily be remembered.

You havent answered.

What written protections that are enforceable does Kevin and his DL ACS coworkers have?

That will be number nine.

You conveniently forget DL brought 14 stations to the merger, NW brought over 40.

Why is RR approaching 40% and on its way to 50% at DL in ACS?

Seems RR is eroding away at mainline full time DL positions.

AA is lower paid now vs DL????   Are you REALLLLLLLLLL SURE ABOUT THAT?????   Me thinks its not correct   Me thinks its very inaccurate.    Your posts sure as hell show you are very anti worker  and definitely anti union   but that is typical of mgmt. and former mgmt. of companies such as DL   Ive seen it before at EN  and they went union  with the CWA about 2 or so yrs ago

all you have to do is look at the total each carrier reported on their annual reports and divide it by the number of mainline employees.

on an average salary basis including profit sharing, DL employees are the highest paid of the big 3 followed by UA and then AA.

of course 2014 data doesn't fully reflect all of the pay raises that AA has agreed to so the numbers will increase.

it is factual, robbed. and it is precisely when you or others discredit very public and very verifiable information that you hurt your own cause.

the data is not anti or pro anything. It is simply data.

Lets go for 10:

What written and enforceable job protections does Kevin and his ACS coworkers have?

AA took Chapter 11 do to that and so did UA and UA was under performing for years that is why they are in the situation they are in now.
.
Thank you for proving that a contract is nothing more than a piece of paper, you pay a 3rd party to type up!

Next!

Really?

The company prints them up, not the union and the company pays for it.

Try again, and how is fellow union members who are elected by their peers who represent and negotiate a third party?

When DL was in Chapter 11 who negotiated for the non-union employees in section 1113 C?

Oh wait, no one since you and others who were non-union were employees at will and still are and had no rights under the Bankruptcy laws.

Who negotiated with DL for the non-union employees when DL cut the profit sharing payout by 33% for the year 2013?

Oh wait, my bad, that would be no one since you are an employee at will.

oh yes, the employee at will mantra.
This Employee at will has made out pretty damn well for over 25 years at Delta.
How about YOU?
oh thats right you are an OUTSIDER who has no clue what its
like to be employed by Delta.   You just rely on heresay and warp beliefs.
This stalker fascination you have with Delta is getting scary.

Ask the employees at the following stations:

DFW, MEM, MCO, TPA, ANC, MSP, CVG, SLC about that.

How many crew bases as DL closed over the years?

Keep saying outsider, it doesnt mean a darn thing to me.

See you have to distract and change the subject because you cant refute the facts.

You have zero job protections at DL if you are an employee at will and that is what you are under the law and in the court system if you are non-union.

The DL FAs in CVG are waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Delta's cuts have now extended for a decade. Major downsizing had subsided at CVG the past few years, but the Atlanta-based airline is ramping up efforts this year to phase out most of its aging and inefficient 50-seat regional jets. CVG, the nation's most expensive airport, has the highest amount of those jets among Delta's seven U.S. hubs.

Delta has dropped below 100 daily flights with all the latest cuts – a far cry from the days of nearly 700 flights buzzing in and out of CVG from across the globe. Many business leaders have feared Delta will do what it did to Memphis in 2013, when the airline completely pulled the plug on its hub there.

The Machinists union was rejected by all 5 work groups it sought to represent at Delta Air Lines following the merger. Now they are:

  • Using Delta flight attendants’ personal contact information without their consent to find out where they live and showing up unannounced to pressure people to sign IAM authorization cards.
  • Soliciting Delta customers to distribute IAM information and attempt to engage flight attendants in conversations about the IAM while on duty.
  • Bullying fellow flight attendants on hotel shuttles and using derogatory terms like “rat chick” to describe fellow flight attendants when they don’t support their viewpoint.
  • Making robocalls asking flight attendants to disclose how they would vote in an upcoming IAM election, even though the National Mediation Board (NMB) has not yet determined whether there will be an election.

Baba are you taking a play out of the World Fraudster school of posting lies?

The IAM has a strike fund, a very well off strike fund, there is so much money in there that the interest off the fund pays for the total operation of the William W Wipinsinger Education and Technology Center at Placid Harbor, which is college accredited.
