They are speaking of amount of on duty hours in one day , Reduced rest on layovers , how on the job injurys are handled ( harassment and forced back to work when not healed). If this were all contractual it could be enforced.

If  you are a productive employee, the boss will want you back at work ASAP following 'workplace injury' etc.  It isn't just DL.

With respect to flightcrew duty hours - those are regulated by the gov.  Highly doubt union for FAs at DL is going to change them.  (And it also begs the question:  if they are so horrible, why haven't unions done anything to improve them over the last 60 years).

I konw I sound like an a$$hole, but the reasons for unionization are all BS - other than the maybe possibility of negotiating a higher compensation package.  But it seems to me that at DL, compensation isn't a problem, so the reason(s) for union representation is going to be a tough one to make.  IMHO.

And so you will continue to reminisce about how great thing were with a union.

Not realizing the biggest reason that's holding that back is vile people like triple zero.
If you want to see what vile looks like, I would suggest looking in the mirror.

I sincerely hope you're not the toxic hot mess in real life that you come across as on here...

P.S. You think maybe you could "dig deep" and find the strength to stop bastardizing people's user names? I know it'll be tough, but I have faith in you. Thanks in advance.

Just saying Kev. Your frustration with the inability to obtain union representation, is directly related to how people like triple zero openly despises and disparages the workgroup he needs as support.

People like him are not doing your cause any favors.

Just the opposite.

Just can't bring yourself to do it, eh?
You think that will magically change people like him? He doesn't deserve the respect when he has shown repeatedly, he has none to give.

But hey, go ahead.

Carry on with your exercise in futility with him.

The more he disparages, the further your goal becomes.

PR strategy that's killing your cause.

he has none to give.
Likewise, most people have no f's left to give about what you vomit all over this site everyday.

Try anyway. It's not hard.

You can do it. I believe in you.

Meanwhile, maybe you can share with the board what you are actively doing to push for either a resolution to all of this, reform of a clearly archaic system, or both. I eagerly await a substantive response.

Last time I checked, I don't work for the DOJ.

Maybe you should come up with a spiffy hashtag or something.

In sure that will do it.

Just because it's regulated by the Gov. does not make it safe, ex. Gov. just changed pilots duty rest not Fa's . When on OJI if you are fired the union reps and union lawyers step up! On duty hrs are negotiated and better than gov. rules!! Have you ever compared a contract to gov. regulations ??
It does NOT matter if you are a productive emp. on a workplace inj. You are just a number and the comp. Dr. Job is to get you back to work asap! That is a fact! Again I'll ask you have you ever read a contract?? It's a set of rules I have to follow and the company has to follow with checks and balances! It's not always about the money!!! Not opinion fact!

I don't work for them either, but that's not what I asked.

So what are you doing to bring about a resolution to all of this?

Resolution to what then?

Cute.

No really; what're you doing to see that accountability and transparency are brought to this mess?

Anything to push for DOJ (or NMB and RLA) reform?

Reform what specifically? The voting process?

Yes I would like to see the de-certifying a union as easy as it is to certify.

Or better yet follow Scott Walkers plan of having the union re-certify annually.

Great. Now what're you doing to bring about those changes?

Closer to home, what action(s) are you taking w/r/t to the F/A election at DL airlines, and the glacial pace of the DOJ to look into it?

Welp, if rumors are true, then you really would rather chose it just goes away silently.
