With a 64% originating traffic percentage, this company will continue to its operation as is in PHL.

I'd love to know where that number came from, since the BTS data don't support it.

For calendar year 2005, PHL handled just over 24 million domestic passengers. Of those, 5.7 million domestic passengers originated in PHL, according to the 10% ticket sample submitted to the BTS. That works out to 24.75%. Roughly the same number would have had PHL as a destination, so that's less than 50% O&D

Even if the international departures were 100% originating traffic it wouldn't bring that up to the number you cited.

Additionally, US only had about 50% of domestic passengers. Since we have the largest connecting operation in PHL, it would stand to reason that we also have the highest percentage of connecting traffic.
