What's new

I know. Not another DOH thread

What the DOH crowd hasn't gotten yet is that DP and company has not, does not and will not let the tail (employees) wag the dog (company). If they want FCFS (or any other item they have unilateral control over), they will force the issue regardless of hew and cry. And since there are no alliances among working groups, there is no overwhelming power for them to face.

Now if they for once interrupted their "it's all about me" attitude for long enough to compromise with their fellow workers and build some crucial goodwill alliances across employee lines, then look out!

Nah, never gonna happen.

I have heard that US was the only airline that kept retirees at the same priority as active. Thus the change.

Is this true? How do other airlines work?

TWA USED #'s for boarding 1-4 was TOP Management, 5 was Perfect Attendant and other CO designated tvl, 7 was Active Employees and RETIRES were 7A which meant they boarded AFTER ACTIVE EMPLOYEES. AA has used FCFS for as long as I have known.
