Well I do know for a fact that in PHX all agents including new hires in the 90 day probation were voting in the T4 terminal at the airport during their scheduled shift hours. Whatever the results for this vote are its sooo tainted it's sick.

Are you sure their ballots were not impounded?

And each RS of each lodge should have provided the tellers with a DCO eligibilty list, if your not paying dues you should not be allowed to vote.

Who is responsible for impounding the ballots? And the agent in question, their name was on the eligibility list brought by the tellers from the local. And the agent in question did vote.

I wonder if this is why the results haven't been announced.
The vote was passed by over 60%. The most likely reason why it has not been announced is because Randy doesn't care when you get your extra money.

And the one dude is wrong, management did not provide vans for this vote in CLT and I doubt PIT, neither do they have to. I have no idea what labor law on earth he is quoting from.

Dude, that's just plain false. Not even paranoid crankheads think that managers have the time to stand on top of the parking garage with binos to spot people leaving the property during their shift.

Plain and simple, the company provided vans and motorpool agents in CLT and PIT to take union voters to their local. If they didn't do that in PHL, it's probably because they don't have enough vans that are driveable to accomplish the task.

The company is NOT out to get you, the black helicopters are NOT circling, and for gods sake, they are required by labor laws to let agents vote during their shift if voting occurs during operational hours.

Stop stirring the pot before you spill it and burn yourself.

The company DID NOT provide vans in CLT. They rescinded the offer of company vans a week before the vote. The shift managers were

also telling people in the breakrooms they could not leave work to go vote.

Narcs are true! They plant managers on the roof of the parking garage to spot any worker who leaves their cars on the curb to go and punch into workbrain.. Been going on for years. There are cameras everywhere in our "casino" of an airport and they also moniter the swipes in and out of the restricted areas. They also still moniter the swipes at the city owned employee parking lot. That is why the gate is always smashed down. So speak for yourself. Just ask anyone that works in PHL on the "narcing" going on.

Shame on all west "union" brothers and sisters that can just sit back and allow probies a vote on the TA. Looks like Tim will be quite busy as our new "hub" will now be in his hometown city!

The tellers would impound the ballot if the member's name did not appear on the eligibility list.

One would have to ask themselves why is it that the airport & co. seem to have to go these lengths in phl? Or one could ask why they have to auction off flat screen tv's to the employees during the holidays to get them to come to work then? Boy....my stn sure would have loved to be able to participate in those philly perks.....

Makes one go hmmmmmmm

i want everyone to relax and take a deep breath .... the offical results should be in tomorrow ...

I've been thinking of a plan to get all of us more money and bring back the 60 day guys ASAP ... because hey face it , if this thing offically passes then we're all on the same side ... i can't talk to you about what i'm thinking though until i know for certain that we have an offical yes ... but to all of my east brothers , hang in there , there's hope for you yet!

Official my A$$!!! There was nothing fair/honest about this vote..Nothing but corrupt IAM and management shady deals!

What I am saying is that the employees name was on the "list" and that same employee is on probation and NOT paying dues.

Let's all be realistic. Tomorrow, the ratification of this t/a will be official. There will be no re-vote or votes recinded because of eligibility. The IAM has been bending the rules and twisting truths since they were "voted" in from fleet.

The IAM is just like any insurance company. They collect the dues (premiums) from all of it's members (customers) in hopes that they will not have to represent, or file any grievances (pay claims). When a grievence is filed (you have an accident), the IAM deals it away with the company for it's own agenda and the grievance "goes away" (the insurance company splits the claim with the other insurance company and you're screwed anyway).

Either way, your dues (premiums) go up with no representation on a consistant basis.

To close, the IAM will continue this practice until we, the membership, either holds them accountable (which we could have done with a "no" vote), or remove them from office. Something HAS to be done.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

I have a strong felling that the IAM is trying to cut a deal to represent the passengers service employees group as well as the fleet service group at the newly merge US/UA
Time will tell if we merge and who will represent what employee groups as far as the mechanic and relative they may be up for garbs as well

unfortunately that is pretty much the truth, be you a yes or no supporter ,it should be clear to any reasonable mind that this vote is clearly tainted

all the more reason to get rid of the crooked leadership in June
