IAM refuses Bonus payout for west

What is with the IAM refusing to including an adendum for the m&r on the west so they too can recieve a bonus check offered by the company! Does this sound like the IAM is working for everyone or just the east?

It's payback because yuns guys didn't go to IAM willingly. I figured there would be payback for TWU and Teamster reluctance to go IAM.

You on the west have your superior IBT contract to go by and the east has their inferior IAM contract, in which article 18 (J) deals with the profit sharing. If we would all be working under the same IAM contract I am sure the everyone would be receiving it.

If the IAM were really representing us in good faith, then they would add an addendum to our IBT contract which DP is willing to accept so that everyone recieves that financial pat on the back.

I can't believe that you wouldn't want to share the wealth with your Union brother???

Maybe with your words you are just willing to twist the knife a little deeper.

That is a company anti-union tactic. I learned it on my first day of anti-union 101 school. Even though I hate the IAM I can assure you they can not prevent the company from paying you more money than the contract calls out for. Don't be a fool

I guess the IAM wants and US and Them attitude. Treat the West M&R as red-headed step children. They seem to be good creating this division in the work groups between East and West.

Way to go IAM.

Everyone under a certain pay grade gets the hat trick.

US-East, during the years and years of concessions, put in profit sharing as their CBA.

The EAST contract deserves this profit sharing,

*BUT*

the IBT should have learned and put it in their own

*AND*

I think the two contracts should have been integrated much faster to include all of the employees covered under the CBA, be it IAM or IBT original contract.

I can't say where to place blame, but the company is just honoring its contract with the IAM.

as on the other thread about the east profit sharing, if once the west are under the east cba, then they would get the profit sharing, correct, then the west still would not have had the pre-resiquite of all of the give backs that they claim as a basis of their need of all of it.
and again, if us had franke negotiating the cba' for the company, then you would not have a pension or a profit sharing..
