Inflight Service--Is the snack basket dead or dying?

The Reponse, the snack basket will live

OK.....so what do I do with the 15,000 LIME GREEN wrist bands that I ordered and are scheduled for delivery tomorrow?? 😀

Anybody interested in purchasing brightly colored mini sling shots? Really really cheap.....makes great stocking stuffers for next year!!

Hang onto them! I have a feeling we may yet still need them.
Like Bob said, HANG ON TO THEM! In time you may want to contact Marketing.....maybe they can do a segment on the "Level Off" video (Grow a Cactus Campaign) or have the pilots sell them during boarding  .F/As have too much going on already inflight and now the credit card hawking campaign covers TWO credit cards!

Should probably KEEP it on the FRONT BURNER....nothing has been decided yet. Then again they still haven't decided between Coke or Pepsi.

sky high states: Since the snack basket has survived. Why not see if it can be IMPROVED? Cycle in some different products. Rotate them every six months.

And, bring back the...<drum roll>...GOLD FISH.

now, now, let's not get greedy 😉

Tempe still needs to respond to why they went back on their promise about keeping the DM program in tact with the best features of both FlightFund and DM even though what they have taken away doesn't cost them a dime and is chasing away your best customers. (Actually, there were no good features of FlightFund and the DM program is just turning into a mirror image of FlightFund.)

I know a lot of you want glassware--honestly, I'd prefer plastic cups and rollover tier miles and companion upgrades when I can updgrade to glassware. The rollover costs them nothing and the non-use of glassware apparently saves them a lot of money. Free club is not even a big issue for me--another benefit they took away--I'll pay for the club--not looking for tons of freebies--just some basic benefits that will keep my loyalty and give me a reason to send all of my business to US.

US1YFARE, Sounds like Mr Parker needs to hear from members of Dividend Miles too. Why not send an e-mail or letter to voice your concerns and recomendations on the Dividend Miles program. He's been listening to employees, I'm sure he'd like feedback from from DM members too. I'm suprised at the outpouring of support for the "snack basket" though.....but w/o the basket what would we serve in F/C on most of our East Coast flights?

It amazes ME when I hear employees comment on their "surprise" that the snack basket issue got so much attention/interest. Passengers (remember THOSE people that pay OUR salaries) have certain expectations when THEY board OUR aircraft. THIS AIRLINE cannot continue to downgrade ALL aspects of its product and expect people to "FLY US".....there are choices in carriers out there and it is high time THIS Airline made a difference.
